## Zoog Description
What if you could star in your child's or grandchild's favorite bedtime story from anywhere in the world? With Zoog, you can. Record yourself reading - playful visual effects applied automatically turn you into the animated hero your child will ask for again and again.

IT STARTS WITH A SPARK

For the youngest kids, Zoog turns something familiar - your face and your voice - into their very own personalized story. As you read, Zoog's AR transforms you into the characters and shifts the scene around you, so you become the wolf, the princess, the friendly monster, page after page. Your toddler looks up, eyes wide. That is Mom, right there in the story. That is Grandpa. That flash of recognition is where a love of reading is born.

IT GROWS INTO A RITUAL

As your child gets older, reading together turns into the part of the day you both look forward to. You step into the same story side by side, both of you in costume. This is not a child watching alone. It is the two of you, inside the story together, until they ask you to read it again.

IT BECOMES A HABIT

One day your child opens Zoog on their own. They pick a story from our ever-growing library, finish a chapter, and reach for the next one, with new stories and worlds always waiting. The child who once needed you to start the story is now the one saying just one more chapter. And they can share every story they finish with the grown-ups who love them, so a parent at work, a grandparent far away, or a military family across an ocean gets to watch their little reader grow. This is the whole point: a child who reads because they want to.

WHY FAMILIES LOVE ZOOG

Reading together early is one of the best things you can do for a child's development, and Zoog turns it into the part of the day everyone looks forward to. Rated 4.9 stars by more than 300,000 parents, grandparents, and educators, Zoog makes that closeness possible for any family, whether you are in the next room or across an ocean. Beyond books, the same magic brings songs, lullabies, and video greeting cards to life for birthdays, holidays, and everyday hellos.

## Zoog Reviews in United States

### ***** "Every night!"
This app has allowed me to read to my grandson that I don’t get to see very often. I also recorded a good night message with my daughter plays for him most nights. This is great because when he does see me he knows exactly who I am and is very comfortable running up to me and giving me a big hug!
-- Shelz1984, 2026-10-08

### ***** "So fun!!!"
This app is so fun to make cute stories for your children and grand children. My grand babies love watching the stories I make. They think they are so funny.
-- FrenchAllen, 2026-10-04

### ***** "Best app ever"
I Make story's for my little cousin and she loves it good job guys
-- Ducky ◡̈, 2026-09-12

### ***** "A Way to Connect!"
I love how I can read a story and my grandson can see me and we can have fun together, even though we’re so far away! This is a wonderful opportunity to have fun with my grandson, connect with him and hopefully make a connection with him as he grows up!
-- Gdisevrywear, 2026-08-25

### ***** "LOVE this company and APP!!"
I have been using the free version for a few years and I’m about to buy it all! This is SUCH a creative way to read to my Grandchildren now that they moved across country with the Military! Bonus.. They get to keep it and always play it back when they miss me!! Thank you for this and making it SO easy to use!
-- Skg0497, 2026-07-17

### ***** "Great App"
I love this App!! It’s a great way to connect with your grandchildren.
-- Nitty56, 2026-07-16

### *---- "Good App, Dishonest Leadership"
Very disappointed in this app. Back in April, we had an issue, and Yoav Oren (the CEO of the company) directly reached out to me. They stated they released a new update, asked us to download it, and personally offered a complimentary membership for the trouble.
I did exactly what was asked. I updated the app and even paid for a trial out of pocket just to make sure the fix actually worked. The app itself works now, and my son loves it, but the CEO completely lied about the credit and ghosted us afterward.
I sent the requested follow-up email to claim the complimentary membership and got no response. I sent another follow-up in June. Still nothing. It has been nearly three months of radio silence since this started in April. It’s incredibly frustrating and unprofessional when the head of a company makes a direct promise just to get you to troubleshoot their app, and then completely fails to follow through. Great app for kids, but terrible, dishonest leadership.
-- Kimberly Evette, 2026-07-12

### ***** "Joke and greetings"
The kids think it’s funny and I love a different kind of connection
-- GkatF, 2026-05-08

### ***** "Connecting with family"
This has been a wonderful way for me to connect with all my great nieces and nephews! Love it!❤️
-- Krones25, 2026-05-01

### ***** "Joy"
The joy this brings my grandson is precious to me!
-- ❤ 👍, 2026-04-30

### *---- "Paid subscription unacessible"
I had four months still left on my subscription when they updated app and I lost access to my subscription. Under the help option, I reported the problem. They responded once and then started ghosting me after the problem was not fixed.
-- LolaWyo, 2026-04-21

### ***** "Zoog review"
Best in the world
-- Carter , 2026-01-31

### ***** "Zoog is a hit with our grandchildren"
Following the instructions for narrating the story and song I sent to each grandchild was easy…and the fun making each was totally unexpected. I could not stop laughing watching the playback!!
-- GSFMD, 2026-01-27

### *---- "They charge unfairly"
I subscribed to Zoog in Jan 2025 and paid $62.99 for the year. I thought it would be fun to send stories to my grandchildren. Unfortunately my grandchildren never didn’t get to see many of them so I stopped making them. I thought for sure I had unsubscribed to this app and I forgot about it. I have epilepsy and have had hundreds of seizures and brain damage so I forget easily. This January 2026 I was charged $89.99 to renew the subscription. I was not given any notice that it was going to renew or that the price increased so much. Apple will not refund me despite the app not being used. This is a lot of money and I didn’t expect it nor can I afford it. I’m extremely disappointed.
-- THEBLINDCOUNTRY, 2026-01-22

-- bopsofour, 2026-01-20

-- Seraphine Jones, 2026-01-04

-- Zibergirl, 2025-12-23

### ***** "My grandkids love it"

-- PamG6577, 2025-12-21

### ***** "This app is a must have."
I am a grandma of a six year-old and a four-year-old. I recently got this app and started sending recorded stories, jokes and songs. My granddaughters absolutely love watching grandma. My daughter said keep them coming the girls love it.
