Zwift: Indoor Cycling Fitness

Excellent challenging-way to get fit

A life changing app, keeps me mentally and physically together, love it.

I been using Zwift runners on my treadmill for a few years, have been very pleased but recently have had issues 10 mins into my run where the connectivity drops, the runner stops. The last three recent updates seems is where the issues started, before I never had these problems. I have reached out to customer support three times and no one has returned my emails. That being said, I decided the only way to get their attention is by writing this review to alert others of the issue if you considering this app. I have also have done the whole process of elimination, trying to figure out the issues knowing it isn’t on my end. Please fix the problem, cause it totally messes with my workout.

I love the exercise I can get at home with Zwift.

The app is fine and does the job on an IPad while using a spin bike. But for the price of $20 a month, it’s really lacking. The UX and UI aren’t very good. I understand it’s meant to be a game, but it feels like a Wii game from the 2000s, and because of that, doesn’t feel like a serious training app. For some reason, you also need a secondary companion app to sync with Strava and other third party services. I want to be able to control the typography, HUD, guidance notices, and more. They pack too much stuff on the screen while you ride and riders should be able to control this for maximum effect. On my iPad Air, I can’t even make out what some of the stuff says. There wasn’t much consideration for device screen size scaling. And I can’t enjoy what little of the course I see. If my employer didn’t cover the cost, I probably wouldn’t be using it.

Years of this app and I’m amazed at what still hasn’t been addressed. Workouts still have broken cadence cues ERG mode doesn’t match the fluidity of platforms like trainer road Most of all, you still can’t turn off the chat. Great if you enjoy watching people spew hatred and harassment while you ride but not really my style. If you want an app focused on cycling, I suggest trainerroad. If you’re looking to take your forum and Facebook drama to the trainer Zwift is for you!

New York map has had issues for over a year and Zwift has not fixed. Consistent lagging, KoMs basically stall out the app. Pls fix

No way to talk to an actual person, even when f ordering expensive equipment. Chat bot sends you in circles. Chat person slow, chatting always freezes. Email answers are slow, and often require clarifications, etc. You wait again. Good app though. Just atrocious support. Will switch to Rouvy.

20 dollers a month now! No thanks. Not worth it
