Used to be good, not anymore
I used to play this game heavily, it’s something I used to calm down. I understood the use of ads despite how constant they are, you try and do anything and there’s a minute and a half long ad. But that’s not the issue. The issue is that I’ve had a lot of progress reset randomly, with no explanation, this time in the middle of a game. I had over 40000 stars, all gone! And the amount of cubes I had have been halved, and now the game has been reduced to an 8x8 cube which just renders the name of the game useless? A lot of random and unneeded changes have made the game lose its fun and is no longer something I want to engage my time in.
Its not 10!10! Anymore
Literally updated it and changed the whole game, it’s harder and more ads, more boring. Loved this game. They changed the grid amount, why? Its called 10x10 for a reason. Cba playing anymore
Was a 5 star game
Yes 1010 used to be a five star game but since updating on iPad, and no new updates found, a message to check internet connection unnecessarily appears before the game will load - when in fact I have full internet connection for this and all other apps. It has now become painfully slow to load, holding a white screen for what seems forever, and to play pieces which hover above and sometimes fall in a position not intended. Practically all play is delayed no matter what time of day you choose to play or the score so far achieved. Also random pieces appear on the bottom left hand side of the grid and will not move into play. Most frustrating is that scoring so far in the game suddenly disappears without reason and despite having achieved a high score with plenty’s of scope for moves play is either stopped or has to start afresh. As with other posts, the message that no more pieces can be played with no clear way of seeing why, dominating the screen is extremely annoying. Please, please get these problems fixed and earn back your 5 stars!
Ads-Free Doesn’t Work
Despite being an avid player of this app for many years, I am now attempting to request a refund as I have now paid twice to have an ad-free experience BUT I constantly get ads. I have also failed to bring this to gram’s attention via their support and other email addresses (no response or email bounces). My recommendation - don’t bother with this game unless u are a fan of ads!
Now unusable
Used to enjoy this game but now you can’t use it without it cutting out anything you’re listening to every few seconds. Bug needs fixing

Love the app but it pauses my music all the time, it is very annoying

The reason I don’t play blockblast is because of all the unnecessary pop-ups when you clear a line like ‘Great!’ or ‘+10’, it’s just annoying and I wish I could turn it off now it’s on 1010.

used to be good, algorithm for finding a good puzzle was good too and as far as i was aware it made sure there was always a way out of any situation, until that silly mistake of an update → the update essentially lets you cheat by purchasing ‘rotates’ or ‘two stacks’ and the algorithm for selecting new blocks is now heavily dependent on the user purchasing multiple of these per round otherwise there is no other possible method of getting through that block set
