It is extremely annoying that 8 out of 10 times I get paired against a player who is 30-50% higher level than I am. I have 5000ish points and my opponents have mid-8000. Their soldiers walk so much faster and hit so much more that I dont stand a chance.
If you pay, you enjoy it, if you don't, you don't get ahead. Good game just spend it.
It was a really good game but pay-to-win mechanics ruined it.

Edit 1: Since my original review the developers improved game experience a lot. The game still has p2w elements, but they mitigated the differences between p2w and f2p players effectively. Game experience, time investment and player skill has a much greater effect on game results now, a skilled player can still beat a paying one regardless of money spent. P2w only becomes relevant in the top league, where competition is very high and paid boosts can make a difference. Mushroom wars 2 is a gem of mobile games, offers tons of fun for new gamers and veterans alike. I play MW2 for years now. It used to be a cool strategy game that was all about player skills, however recent updates made the game a pay to win experience. Events that you cannot finish without money, a skill system that is painfully slow to develop unless you pay ofc, huge boosts for those who are willing to spend hundreds of bucks. Now a mediocre player can defeat a pro if she spent the right amount of money. Its still a good game, but if you want to reach the top, prepare to send hundreds, or even thousands of euros.
The game concept is ok. Altough with these extra skills turned to a pay to win game what is frustrate the normal gamers
It could be awesome but you have to pay for even breathing so it’s not playable and joyable. I hate that. I won’t play this until the fix that. What they wont’t anyway.
Hi Team! After the upgrade i can’t use the app. Issue step by step: - Start the app - Zilloon Whales logo - ok - Mishroom wars screen - ok - Loadong line - ok - The logged in google profile layel is scroll down and than the app has crushed.

The game itself would be atleast a 4 star, but it’s pay to win, can’t really do anything about the opponents who paid for premium or anything
