2go Chat – live community chatrooms

2go Chat lets you join live chatrooms, talk in your own language, and stay in touch with friends — all in a moderated, community environment.

What you can do:
- Join public chatrooms by topic, interest, or language (English, Afrikaans, Xhosa, Zulu)
- See who’s in the room before you chat
- Start private chats only with people you’ve met in rooms or added as friends
- Create group chats for friends and people you know
- Share camera snaps, voice notes, emojis and status updates
- Set your presence (online, away, busy) so friends know when to message
- Report or mute users who misbehave — bad behaviour isn’t allowed
- Enjoy low data usage, ideal for South Africa and during loadshedding

2go Chat is designed to be a safe, room-based chat experience: users join a room first, then choose who to talk to. There is no random or Chatroulette-style matching — you stay in control of your conversations.
