Back Button im Ipad einführen, in der Iphone Version vorhanden ! 5. Backup oder Export von Bookmarks 6. Idiome als solche auch eindeutig ausweisen Man muss aber fairerweise sagen, dass die Longman App besser ist als die von Oxford -- Saturn XV, 2011-11-26 ### ***** "Kurz gesagt: DAS Nonplusultra..." ... bei englischsprachigen Dictionaries ! Der Preis schreckt vielleicht im ersten Moment ab, aber dazu sei angemerkt: Der Umfang ist so gewaltig, dass über einzelne Begriffe/Wörter hinausgehend ebenfalls alle Idioms und Phrasal Verbs abgedeckt sind. Wer das LDOCE hier in Kombination mit z. B. (soll jetzt keine Werbung sein:) PONS E/D "Premium" nutzt, kann sich relativ sicher sein, so ziemlich Alles offline, also ohne Internet ins Englische oder aus dem Englischen übersetzen zu können. Einziger kleiner Fehler: Nach einem Update gehen die Lesezeichen verloren. -- Sascha Michael, 2010-12-22 ### ****- "Hilfreich und stürzt nicht ab" Den Longman als Buch habe ich als Englisch-Lerner sehr geschätzt, da die englischen Erklärungen so einfach sind (auf einen Basiswortschatz beschränkt, wenn möglich). Leider stürzt bei mir die Computerversion für den Mac immer ab. Für meinen iPod-Touch habe ich bisher meist mit der "Wordbook"-Dictionary gearbeitet. Gegenüber der American Heritage (die übrigens wesentlich teurer ist, als das Wordbook) hat das Wordbook (immerhin) den Vorteil, dass man schnell ein Wort in der deutschen Übersetzung nachschlagen kann, wenn man die englische Erklärung nicht versteht. Leider passiert mir das immer noch sehr häufig und mir deshalb mit gemischten Gefühlen die neue Longman-Version für das i-phon gekauft. Nicht zuletzt hat mich übrigens ermuntert, dass ich vorher herausgegoogelt habe, dass man ja schließlich auch im AppStore ein Rückgaberecht hat. Aber nach ein paar Tagen Nutzung weiß ich schon, dass ich davon keinen Gebrauch machen werde. Das Programm funktioniert auf meinem iPod-touch einwandfrei, schnell und die Bedienung ist funktional. Verbesserungsvorschläge an die Entwickler hätte ich zwei: Zum einen wäre das ein programmierbarer Link ins Web, um z.B. dict.cc in der Mobilversion aus der Wortsuche heraus ansteuern zu können. (Aber wie gesagt, meistens verstehe ich jetzt die englischen Erklärungen) und dann würde ich gern die Etymologie mit dabei haben, da ich das oft interessant finde.
