A Better Routeplanner (ABRP)

Too many bugs!! The main bug is the app kept taking over the binocle map directions. Even when I wasn’t using the App. So every time I was planning a route on the BMW sat nav, it would kick in a take over my screen. BMW iX. It got so annoying I had to delete the app on a long drive across France. Nil Points

I had premium for few months but found it clunky and not good with car play. Also it does not recognise my mainstream car or the chargecard that I use. This could be so good but really isn’t. So many smaller chargers not shown. Am going to renew subscription for a while to see if it gets any better in terms of detail of car, card and charger and if it can really integrate with the new car play which is coming out.

Crashes on startup.

App worked pretty ok but lacking features in the free version. Immediately after purchasing the premium the app will no longer open. Tried fully reinstalling the app multiple times but no joy. Very very difficult to recommend an app that stops working after it takes your money.

The app has greatly improved. Very smooth and very accurate. Love live charger availability. Moaners just don’t know how to set it up properly. Just like you can send the journey defined with ABRP to Google Maps or Apple Plans, a great addition would be to be able send a trip planned in Google Maps or Apple Plans to ABRP to tweak it in terms of chargers etc. The current rating of this app does not reflect at all its level of accuracy and usefulness. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

ABRP is starting to get good now. Speed cameras and CarPlay Dashboard screen are very welcome additions. I drive a lot in East Anglia where there tends to be very poor phone reception for miles at a time, so some form of offline mapping and planning would make the app perfect.

Sadly for the past month since subscribing to their premium service I still cannot connect to Porsche connect for live syncing of fuel consumption etc. Customer service has been terrible, I have paid for a service and product that I can’t use. Whole experience has been very disappointing. Don’t waste your money. They can’t be bothered to troubleshoot or support.

Very well thought out planning for EV charging stations

This app could be the perfect one of only to would allow to chose which mean of crossing waters, in particular from dover to calais.The app only plans with the shuttle despite the app offering the option to set ferry departure and arrival times. Also noticed phone gets very hot when using this app. Otherwise the estimates are most of the time spot on and very reliable.

Great for planning journeys long and short, incredibly accurate and easy to use for Tesla model 3. Not so straight forward for all newer vehicles - perhaps a feature to say if you have this vehicle, select this closest match for best results would help?
