ABC listen: Radio & Podcasts

I listen to ABC radio shows on Apple Podcasts, because I listen to the whole episode. ABC Listen does not offer that functionality - shows like RN Breakfast are broken into pieces

Keeps on dropping out and many repeat lines and paragraphs.

I can’t even search for anything but radio stations. Finding a specific audiobook is impossible without searching the whole catalog. Poo poo bum

Can you please add Support for Apple shortcuts so that we can launch the app using a shortcut. I would like to be able to launch the app and choose the radio station I would like to play using the shortcut. Until recently I was able to use Siri to open Radio National in the app but for some reason I am no longer able to do this.

Recent updates have removed the ability to personalise the news/ reports in the playlist. You listen to what you’re given. This is so inconvenient it practically makes the app unlistenable. On top of this, when you play the national bulletin, it no longer plays the well known ABC news music, which I miss!

Can we have auto downloads and playlist management back? PLEASE

If you don’t tag the stations and programs you want on initial set up, it’s impossible to add them later. Better to use online ABC web version.

Have noticed issues with connectivity recently and today was out walking and ABC just stopped. Cannot get to anything ABC radio now for more than an hour - DREADFUL!

I found after updating IOS to 18.2 the battery issue was solved Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t do anything But updating to 18.2 , no longer over heats or drains battery

When I listen to your app over a period of time, maybe an hour to an hour and a half it can drain 70% of my battery power out of one year-old iPhone SE version 2 it also causes my phone to overheat and quite often has shut down because of the heat why only your app?
