Veröffentlicht von: Ableton

Beschreibung

Start new musical ideas with a curated selection of sounds and effects. Create beats and melodic parts, sample your world, and continue your tracks in Ableton Live.
Note is a place to form ideas, explore new sounds and find direction. Get your ideas out or just experiment until inspiration hits, using a selection of Ableton Live’s drum kits, synths and melodic instruments. Create your own sound palette by sampling with your phone’s built-in microphone. And use Note’s built-in MIDI Editor to sequence notes, beats and chords or make tweaks as you listen back

Follow your ideas wherever they lead by sending your projects to Live without leaving the app with the help of Ableton Cloud. Open projects from Live’s browser and keep working – you can edit all your MIDI notes, and all your samples and sounds from Note are exactly the same. Ableton Note users get a free license for Ableton Live Lite – simple, intuitive software used by musicians, producers and DJs around the world to write, record, and perform. For Ableton Move users, Note also offers the chance to keep working on a Set from your phone.

This is a lot less seamless than I was expecting it to be

Promoters all over the Internet are going on and on about how seamless this works with note. I’ve even heard the move referred to as the push to Ableton, as the move is to note. That Hass to be the over exaggeration of the century these two platforms indeed have their strong points but they do not work in conjunction with one another you literally have to do you work upload it download it do you work on a different platform of low to download it and then do you work on your original platform. Talk about interrupting the creative flow like what is this? Honestly why cant the Move act as the push does to live with note? In real time and acting as a pad stores, and allowing you to change settings of note on your move? I feel ripped off. I’ve had this thing for over three months. I was thinking I’m gonna learn this. It’s gonna get good it’s gonna get good. It’s so simple. There is nothingThat anyone needs from the move if you have Ableton Note. When I go to Ableton Note and I go to Mary settings on my Arturia Midi gear shows up in the list.Having a push like version for cheaper for the note dj W is a great idea and you guys try to make it sound like that’s what the move is but the movies not that so I don’t know. As I read this I keep removing stars from my review I’m just like baffled. Can somebody from Ableton send me an email and show me how to make the move into notes, sidecar basically? And allow real time changes just as a midi controller word.Because after hearing all this hype, and how satisfied everybody is that there’s a little tiny pad box that does literally lets you do nothing but let you manipulate a few presets… that’s why I was saying, a much cheaper and a real time, solutionIs to go out and buy the Arturia mini lab three,Use it as your midi controller, and program the cc of your knobs & faders & pads on minilab,That way you have a real time midi controller that can actually control ableton note which I have to admit is getting much better than when I first downloaded it like four years ago or whatever it was. Can someone tell me what I’m missing? Why is move good? What does it do that my mini lab three can’t? (I also have a move but it is far from seemless…)

Freezing clips, XY controller, editing/drawing/copying automation

First of thank you ! Been waiting for an official app from Ableton. It’s definitely a great app for what it offers BUT…it can be a lot better I feel like for the almost 10$ that it cost it is definitely lacking in features. I feel like adding support for AU3 on the app will open up a lot more doors I enjoy stock sounds but I’d love to be able to integrate my other apps for sounds, Second maybe a bit more midi control ?

Why oh why can’t I save as an Ableton SESSION?

I get that I can sync with the cloud. I DON’T get why I can’t just save/export ideas as a regular Ableton session - I can do it in Korg Gadget… why not here? I want to make an idea, export as Ableton Live session, and send that session to my collaborators. It can just be wav files! Not all everyone uses Live 12, so this is limiting. Please add this feature to get a 5 star review!

This app is amazing!

I’ve been wanting an app like this for years, you don’t have to press record, you don’t have to set your tempo, you just play until you find something you like and then take the snippet you want. Everything else is automatic. Truly innovative. And a must for Live users. Many have tried to create DAWs for iPhone, but this one by far trumps them all. Good job!!!

Refreshing way to start beats 🎧

After a long time using Ableton Live on the computer, it’s awesome having another interface to try ideas with. It helps me to break some of the monotony of my usual DAW habits. Love that it gives me a different drum kit and other instruments by default because sometimes I’ll challenge myself to only use those without swapping them out, and get creative with it. Can always change stuff too / further ideas in Ableton Live on the computer later. I’m sure there could be room for improvements over time, like any app, but honestly once you get used to the basics of this interface, this app is great and fun to use.

Good only for iPhones

There should be two versions of this app: one for iOS and one for iPadOS. It works fine on an iPhone but not on an iPad Pro. Apple is focusing a lot on Logic Pro for iPad, and I'm worried Ableton might miss this chance.

Please allow a way to import midi notes

I love this app. And with the new updates it just keeps getting better. One thing it lacks is the ability to import midi files. Though you can now attach a midi keyboard. Midi files are a wonderful tool to add chord progressions to your ideas. Hopefully you can add this feature in the next update! Thanks

Almost perfect…

Add velocity modulation and this app will become much more for me than a sketch pad when on the go. Among other things, I love the workflow of the sequencer (especially since the last update with quantization amount) and the random instruments when opening new tracks (although I wished one could keep randomizing the choice of instrument or drum racks until one finds a fitting sound and instrument to start with). Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next updates and improvements!

Nice
