Accounts 2 is an easy to use application to replace your paper checkbook. With the Accounts 2 application, you will have a quicker and more convenient way to track your daily finances. You can schedule transactions, transfer funds, capture photo receipts, reconcile, view reports, export data, print, and much more. All features of the Accounts 2 app are designed to be quick, clean, intuitive, and easy to use.

Quickly search for transactions and edit them from the same screen. 

* Reconcile Transactions
Reconcile by checking off cleared transactions and comparing the actual and outstanding balances against a bank statement.

* Smart Autocomplete
As you type, a list will show you your previously entered descriptions and corresponding category. Selecting an entry from the list will fill both fields of the transaction. 

* Auto-increment Check # Field
Accounts 2 will suggest the next check number for you based on the previously entered number. If you replace your checkbook, just enter the new starting number and Accounts 2 will auto-increment from there. 

* Transfers
Make a one-time transfer between accounts or set up recurring transfers to automatically repeat.

* Export in CSV, QIF & HTML Formats
Export transactions via email attachments for used with desktop applications such Numbers, Excel, or MS Money. 

* Customization Settings & Themes
Configurable settings and themes to customize the Accounts 2 application based on your preferences. 

* Transaction Sorting/Hiding
Sort transactions by date in either ascending or descending order. You can also hide reconciled transactions to keep your current list from being cluttered. 

* Accounts Reordering
Reorder your accounts from the account list in any order you choose. 

* Accounts Delete Lock 
Prevents accidental deletion of all the transactions under an account. 

* Backup / Restore 
Backup your data for safekeeping via email, Dropbox, or iTunes file sharing interface. Then restore it to your device whenever you need to.

My wife and I have used accounts 2 for some time and really like it. We’ve run into a challenge. My wife can no longer see any type of deposit that is added to our checking account. Also, her account does not show the correct balances for our accounts like mine does. Is there a quick fix? Thank you!

First let me say I have used this app for years & love it! I have seen no need to upgrade to 3 as I can live without the new features…HOWEVER…if either 2 or 3 included a feature where entire accounts could be archived -(so they no longer show on the main page but transactions are still accessible if needed)- I would upgrade in a heartbeat. Please consider adding such a feature in the near future!

I have used Accounts (the original version) for many years and have been reluctant to upgrade because it works so well. I notice, however, that now I need to manually sync between my iPhone and iPad. Can I transfer between Accounts and Accounts 3? Im nervous that I’ve waited too long.

Help!!! I updated to iOS 17 and now all the data from my Accounts 2 app is gone!!! I’ve used this app successfully and have loved it for 2 years! I thought that maybe because of the update, I needed to switch to Accounts 3. I paid the $4.99 and followed instructions to have my data transferred over to updated app with no success. Nothing loaded and both apps are empty and won’t let me enter any new data. I feel like I’ve just lost two years of data!! Can someone please reach out to me??  If I am not successful with this I would like my $4.99 refunded to my iTunes. Thanks!

I used this app for many years. Last night I got a in app notification of the newer version released, and this morning all my data was wiped out. Since my phone has auto upload on the cloud, it uploaded the blank app. I know this is not a coincidence or my mistake because same thing happened when the Accounts 2 came out. I had the original Accounts downloaded. Same thing happened. Lovely app, but its just not fair that it just automatically wipes out my data when I dont purchase the newer version right away. I wont be using this app and will not recommend it to anyone.

I have not learned how to use all of the features yet and it’s not because it’s difficult it’s just that I haven’t tried:) but what I have learned to use has been excellent. Absolutely love this product! I only wish that a monthly reoccurring page will be added where I can check each paid item off on a monthly basis if that makes sense. Thanks.
