Each time the payment failed, even though there is money in my account. The main issue is that the money has already been taken out of my account for the flights and is now left pending (which I have to wait over a week to be lodged back into my account). I have used 2 different cards and both had the same issue. I rang Air Lingus customer service on this and they said it was my banks network which must have crashed. Which is clearly not the case. I cannot cancel the pending transaction as it’s Air Lingus who are the merchant, but they can’t see the transaction on their end since their app failed in the payment process. I’m now waiting €2,000 to be lodged back into my bank account so I can for the third time buy flights.
