Run coding agents from your phone
Launch Claude, Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity, Cursor, Qwen, Kimi, Grok, Hermes, Pi, OpenClaw, and your own custom CLI agents directly inside remote project sessions. Agentmux discovers your projects, keeps agent launch actions close to the work, and tells you when an agent is working, done, or waiting for you.

AI Permission Review
Let AI handle routine permission prompts while you're away. It uses your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint and API key, asks you whenever it isn't confident, and records every decision in an audit log you can review.

Keep sessions alive with tmux & Live Activities
Remote work should not disappear when Wi-Fi drops or iOS switches networks. Agentmux integrates deeply with tmux so you can reconnect and continue where you left off, and it restores your tabs when you reopen the app. Monitor background tasks and active sessions at a glance with Lock Screen Live Activities and Dynamic Island. If tmux is missing, Agentmux can help install it on supported servers.

Browse and edit remote projects
Open a file explorer over SSH/SFTP, move through project folders, inspect Git context, preview Markdown, and edit text and code files with line numbers and syntax highlighting. Edit configs with confidence using strict validation for JSON, YAML, and TOML. Swipe through remote image galleries, and play remote videos and audio right away without downloading the whole file.

Preview web apps
Forward a port over SSH and open your dev server in the built-in browser, with console logs at hand.

Designed for mobile terminals
Use the iPhone shortcut panel for arrow keys, Ctrl, Esc, Tab, Home/End, and other terminal controls. Copy text that spans more than one screen, and copy from remote editors like Vim and Neovim to your clipboard with OSC 52. Scroll inside mouse-aware programs such as vim. On iPad, use a hardware keyboard, trackpad, landscape layout, and a larger workspace.

Sync your workflow
Optional iCloud sync keeps supported server settings, recent sessions, and recent files available across your own devices. SSH credentials are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.
