Agoda: Cheap Flights & Hotels

They bring you in with a low price but then you go to book and it says the price is no longer available. Happened multiple times.

No support. Flat wasn’t ready, spent all evening for call to Agoda, to owner. Agoda even no answer!

Critical to have my home currency displayed. Clicked GBP and it kept reverting to USD. Given up. Abandoned app and will book through a different company.

They tried to take money £128 from me without me using the app. They then took £30 and £19 without me using the app. Because I haven’t made a booking they won’t let me contact them! I’m in a foreign country and now my card is frozen I can’t unfreeze it. Absolutely ridiculous and no option to contact Agoda. Really annoyed and won’t be using Agoda ever again.

Tried to book a hotel. First booking was cancelled automatically. Second location the coupons did not work. Im going to book direct. Would not recommend agoda as you cant contact them without making a booking, which I dont want to do if the coupons dont work.

I booked a flat on the app, which stated that no payment was required. However, I later received an email saying my booking was pending confirmation, and to my surprise, my card was debited despite the claim that no prepayment was needed. When I tried to ask the property a question, I discovered that there was no booking listed under my account on the app, even though the full amount had been debited from my card! The most frustrating part is that I can’t even contact customer service because the stupid chatbot won’t let me through since there’s no booking associated with my account. Yes, I know there’s no booking stupid bot, that’s precisely why I’m trying to reach them! But it’s impossible. Now, my booking is for tomorrow, yet I have no address, no confirmation, no way to contact customer service, and no money because it has all been debited from my account. Give yourself a favour and use booking.com instead of those scammers!

Much cheaper than booking.com, also I can see more details about hotel than in Booking.com. Use Agoda, I saved money like the difference is 200 dongs which is extra money for dinner

Can you make a dark mode as it is too bright

The app is fine for booking but what I absolutely DETEST is the constant email reminders to book even after I have booked something OR reminders about something I may have looked at in the past. Like months ago. Plus after I have booked a non refundable rate then getting emails to say price has dropped for where I have booked. Really irritating and no way of making any savings after booking.
