Map not showing scale
It is so annoying not to have the scale, as you would have no idea how far it is from anything. So you have to investigate using a map app… please add this feature.
Gratitude
Forever grateful for the world that Airbnb has opened to our family. Digital nomad and worldschooling life would be way more challenging without it.
Inconsistent search experience
The app allows a selection of different accommodation options (farmstay, etc.) on the main screen. However, these options aren’t available in the detailed search screen (i.e., once you run a search, such options aren’t available in filters). Conversely, when you start searching from different types of accommodation options (castle, farm stay, etc.), the other filters aren’t available.
Great app. Some missing functionality
I use AirBnB about 3 times a month and travel a lot so have gotten to experience it across various countries and continents. Overall the experience is good. Issues: - price per night is misleading due to not including cleaning and service fee which often is very high - no option to just view all homes, instead have ti choose from ‘Tiny Homes’ ‘OMG!’ ‘Beachfront’ and various other categories which is beyond infuriating as it’s not a feature I’ve ever really used or seen much value in. But the inability to view all homes drives me crazy Otherwise a good app. Clean UI, great customer support and coverage when things go wrong. Some extra validation of new airbnbs wouldn’t go amiss too
Fees and taxes
Far too many fees and taxes! Really disappointing was a Great place to find accommodation, now the add ons are way to high! Will be using different platforms now to book our Accommodtion . Eg booking dot com.
