I had a task at $315 and was charged $39.50 airtasker fee. The tasker was charged over 20% as well - total charge of well over 35%. Ridiculous for providing what is essentially a tradie booking service. How can airtasker contracts be competitive against standard tradie arrangements. It never used to be so expensive to use airtasker. But I deleted it! The first time was very good with fair charging fee and fair for poster and tasker! But they’ve started to charge too much since 2022! Addtional when having a trouble between tasker and poster, the first thing they do is blocking tasker account! They dont need to consider carefully, when you email to them, that will take a long time to respond!
