Could not solve the only problem I gave it:

Solve 8y=2*arcsin(2x-1)+4*(2x-1)*sqrt(x-x^2)+pi

For x

That’s the area of a unit circle below a chord at distance x inside from the circumference of the circle. Solving for x gives me the inverse which I can use to shape a probability distribution that matches the chord length. 

This app can’t solve it. Moreover, you can’t even edit the equation once it spills over onto a new line. 

Not worth the free trial.

Essentially, you need to pay to get any answer at all, but the app’s information says nothing of the sort before you download it. It tricks you into thinking you’ll get at least some solutions, only into charging you upon even your first problem.

I bet it’s fine if you do pay, though. 

All in all, this app isn’t worth your time if you don’t want to pay monthly (which in my opinion, is completely unnecessary stealing). Try AIR Math.

That’s a lot of money but not just that they only give you the answers which some may be incorrect depending on the problem, I was looking for them to show how they got the answers but it’s not there so this app is not for me.
