Dear Alibaba Team, I am writing to provide feedback on how the Alibaba app can be improved to create a safer, more user-friendly experience for both new and existing customers. While Alibaba is a valuable platform for connecting buyers with suppliers, there are some key areas where enhancements could significantly increase trust, usability, and overall customer satisfaction. Strengthen Account Verification to Prevent Scammers One of the most pressing concerns is the presence of scammers who create fraudulent accounts. To address this, Alibaba could implement stricter account verification processes, such as: • Mandatory Identity Verification: Require suppliers to submit government-issued IDs and business registration documents. • Enhanced Supplier Audits: Conduct regular, more thorough audits of seller profiles, product listings, and transaction histories. • AI-Driven Fraud Detection: Use AI to identify unusual patterns of activity (like sudden spikes in disputes or cancellations) and flag these accounts for review. These measures would not only protect buyers but also reinforce Alibaba’s reputation as a trusted global marketplace. Buyer Education and Support for New Customers New customers often struggle to differentiate between legitimate suppliers and potential scammers. To make their experience smoother, Alibaba could offer: • Interactive Tutorials: Provide in-app guides on how to spot scams, select verified suppliers, and understand shipping/payment terms. • Customer Support Chatbot: Introduce a 24/7 support chatbot

Many items on this website are not as represented. Be very careful. I had to pay with my credit card for the items that I wished to purchase. They came 20 days late with 1/8 of the shipment included had to pay duty and in USD paid twice did not get even a quarter of my shipment and apparently Alibaba logistics tells me that everything is OK grow up. This is bad business.

Love this app great quality things

Works well to find b2b sources but terrible organization once you start making orders. You cannot organize and separate different sources / suppliers. Everything is dumped into a order list or shipping list and it doesn’t even display who the supplier is or what the product is or even the person you were working with. You have to jump back and forth from many lists and guess from dates ordered just to figure out what order the tracking number references. Theres no good place to print or export receipts. Even your payment list is literally just a list of the amounts payed ONLY) Doesn’t tell you to who or for what. I cannot run a business with a horrible interface like this.

It would be much easier if I can get the total cost including shipping .

This app supports some scammers act as factories owners. They will stole your money and scam you Be aware of that.

Clear and presented nicely

Beware of this platform. The refund policy states that you get a refund when a supplier doesn’t deliver your goods or mislead you, if you pay through the platform called Alibaba Trade Assurance. After I paid for my goods, the verified supplier didn’t send my goods for 5 months and blocked me. I escalated the case after several months and Alibaba left the case opened for 4 months after I reported. Up till this day, they ignore me and don’t want to process my refund. The supplier opened a different profile and continued selling to other customers and ripping people off. Until my refund is settled before I could trust Alibaba Trade Assurance

This app doesn’t open in portrait mode in my ipad. This has been causing lots of problem to use with the magic keypad.
