Why does my purchased app constantly reset to a ‘free’ version of the program with most of your upgrades? ‘Restore’ or ‘upgrade’ function option in the settings menu not highlighted and not able to be selected

Resulting reading of text is not adequate

The App page says the support page is on Facebook but there is no Facebook page for AppaWorks.

I love this app so much! I copy and paste uni books (if not avail in ebook) and other study texts for my Masters Degree and CPA Professional Program into this app, just listen to it while I play games on my phone, go for long drives, or do coastal walks. My grades are higher, I get more reading done in a shorter period of time, and there's no more need to hole up with a thick textbook. I would like to see better integration with other apps, such as being able to open PDFs in this app and listen straight away. Also, the ads are annoying and can't always click them away without having to completely close and reopen the app. I once paid for this app but the ads stayed. Would totally pay again if I was assured of no ads. Can we get this app to speak Dutch too please?

Do not buy this app. It is a scam for the purposes of getting you to spend $ on storage you cannot use and cannot access. It has no functionality beyond a once-off read of the text. Even after you save an article, the app will not play it.

I have a special use for the app. I pretend I’m talking to Siri. I select from a series articles which I have previously edited titled as the question. I say the question out-loud. Aloud! speaks my canned answer. People think I’m using Siri. The work-flow to get this to happen is quite convoluted. I use TextEdit to develop the canned response. I store the documents in iCloud using the question as the title. Getting them into Aloud! is tricky.. Also can I choice the background.

Good job guys. There is one problem which can be improved. The iPhone after a few minutes locks and goes to screen saver. I have to touch the screen every 1,2 minutes. Can you stop locking iPhone while reading book? Also would be nice to have a scroll to go up and down. Aloud is a great friend of mine. Thank you guys.
