Lots of free applications work a lot better, only reason I put up with paying for this near junk application is they do have some watchable shows and broad translations. Just one pet peeve, I need to use downloads often, just about everything is broken on downloads. From usability (if I want to download the next show in a series I have to go through an awful lot of clicks) to downloads take forever and often just give error codes or just sit there doing nothing for hours. I can download 40 Netflix shows and I’m lucky if Prime is on the second one, typically I have to stop them all to restart them as they hang half the time. They are constantly trying to confuse me into paying, like half the stuff sometimes. Even stuff that is included in my subscription they offer to let me pay for downloads….what farce. Even obvious usability things, like going back to where you were after switching to pick up an email or something and there I am click scroll click to get back to where I was. Even free applications like Tubi have far better usability. I only give it two stars for there being some decent content, the app itself is 1.

If I wanted commercials, I’d watch cable tv. I don’t pay money for a subscription within a subscription to have commercials shoved in my face every 5 minutes. I’d rather pay more for one platform subscription within NO commercials than put up with this nonsense.

Purchase prime, so we can watch content without commercials, then change the entire platform so you have to watch commercials. Greedy CEOs hard at work.

The app UI on AppleTV is old and ugly.
