I used to love Amazon, and I am still using it on a daily basis, but lately I have been returning a lot of items because they're delivered as used! I am really tired of it because it's like a lottery. You never know what you will get...
Items are also frequently delivered way later than the announced delivery date, and some arrive broken because of poor packaging.
Just one example: I ordered a mechanical pencil for $100 as a gift, and they sent me a used one in an open box…

I’ve been buying this and that on Amazon for at least a decade.  In the past two years their level of service has deteriorated to a level where I now have to explore other sources to get the things I need and want.  They’ve gone from next day to maybe this week, their prices are no longer competitive with the market and the level of service has gone from a 9-10 down to maybe a 3 if your being generous. And don’t get me started on Amazon Prime, that’s just a joke now.

Slow search function.  Sluggish to load. It’s not my hardware because I run the latest M5 chip and have 3 gigabit fiber internet. Quicker if I jump in the car and shop at Walmart. They have gone downhill recently. Incredibly hard to get support if you have issues with your item arriving. The shipping times are unpredictable. They con you into spending more money to get a faster delivery time and then the delivery arrives late anyway. And there’s no way to complain about it because they don’t have a reliable customer service portal.
