This is quite good training if you are thinking of taking a real Mensa test . But don’t get too excited by high scores here as there are limited questions and an unlimited amount of times you can retake to improve your score . You will see questions you have answered before quite regularly and providing you had worked out the answer before you now can answer faster .

However, as a few others have stated, I dislike the repetition of questions. I feel as though a larger database of questions is needed. Alternatively, perhaps the developers could update the questions to keep it fresh and challenging.

As with most other reviewers I too feel that I'd like to know which questions I got wrong, I wouldn't like the correct answer though.

Finally, it would be nice if the bell curve indicating where your score lies is updated. Having done the home test and gotten my mark, I found that this did not correlate to the mark or percentile stated in the app or on the Mensa website. The unexplained inconsistencies make it difficult to truly gauge whether it might be worth taking the supervised test. 

Overall, it is a fun app to keep the brain working during those times of boredom, frustration or in my case insomnia 😂

A good app, but many of the questions have been put together in a sloppy fashion and the questions themselves are not correct. This can be confusing since none of the answers are correct for some questions. Only by guessing and getting top score of 180 have I been able to prove that the questions are wrong. Have contacted developers to ask them to review these incorrect questions but no response. Would have expected more from Mensa's official app.

I began by taking the short version test, and despite feeling as though I did rather well, I only scored 111 (quite a bit lower than I'd expect of myself). Struck me as odd, so I then tried the medium test, and scored 125 which is around what I expected in the first place. I don't know why my score was so much lower on the first occasion, considering that the medium test questions were entirely fresh, so I couldn't have taken advantage of any repeated questions. Indeed it's odd, but otherwise some nicely devised questions.

Challenging but achievable. Really enjoy the brain stimulation. Especially on those mundane days! Only thing a little disappointing is the repetition of questions... Solving some of the questions does take a lot of effort. Once I've worked out the answer I tend to remember it and so am a little disappointed if it comes up again. (Although it does give me more time to work out the new ones!! ;) Every cloud...!!) Jx
