### *---- "Does not work with iOS 16 and cannot restore purchases"
I used AmpliTube every day for years but since iOS 16 it does not work. There are crackles, glitches and digital errors and it is completely unusable. IK multimedia have confirmed in an email to me that it is an issue with iOS 16 and are working towards a solution but it’s now been 4 months and nothing.

Also as I was not using the app at all, my iPhone offloaded it, now despite clicking “restore purchases” and the app confirming they have been restored, none of my amps or effects are actually there.

Very disappointing. Avoid if you’re on iOS 16.

### ****- "Very decent amp simulations effect"
Very nice amp simulations - both stock & Fender simulations - suitable for both practice and simple recording use. Very decent attack latency and noise level on clean to crunchy amp settings. High gain amp settings and overdrive, distortion and compressor effects sounds somewhat noisy and artificial while missing the natural attack and response of playing through an ordinary amp. However, when the app is used with the iRig Stomp interface and od/dist is provided with any decent sounding normal stomp box in front of the interface unit, the whole thing comes to live with very decent pick attack, latency and playing sensitivity - highly recommended for high gain earphone practice. One major drawback/issue for improvement is the overall output level which has to be kept low in order to avoid uncontrolled non-harmonic distortion and corruption of the signal. The standard app also features very nice modulation (chorus, flange and phase shifting) and ambient (delay and reverb) effect simulations while the octaver is very glitchy in its tracking and harsh sounding. Anothet very useful and nice feature is the 4 track recorder option ehich is simple and easy to use with the possibility of reamping your dry input signal. Overall, very nice and inspiring amp simulations app with many nice features and recording options. Enjoy :-)
