I wanted to know more about the pulls/draws for items like the Forestbell spell stuff. I bought 10 draws (which was about $11 USD) and got 7 duplicates. That put me off from buying anymore in item stuff with real money. If you buy 10x draws, what are the chances of less than half of the items being duplicates? I just want to know if it’s worth it to keep buying draws because if it’ll always be mostly duplicates then I don’t think it’s a good idea to spend anymore money on the game

The system is rigged so that you can’t complete a set without spending hundreds of dollars. It’s unfair to fans of the game, we don’t mind spending money but it gets to a point. We can’t spend hundreds just for a CHANCE to get an item. Buying 100 pulls to get 90 duplicates is out of hand. I think the best course of action would be to dispute with my bank even if it means getting my account banned. This is ridiculous

### **--- "Great Game, Awful Gacha"
I really love this game. It’s so much fun to play with so many activities to do (music, painting, gardening, cooking, fishing, etc.) and the online aspect to play with other people! Customization is amazing for character and house building. Many events to attend.

BUT the gacha system is awful. I’ve spent $25 on a gacha event, didn’t even get half the items. I understand gacha is luck of the draw and gambling, which I really don’t like. I would much more prefer season pass, event pass, or DLC for all new items, guarantee you get what you pay for. Do not recommend playing the gacha at all.

The gatcha isn’t it. Yes I know it’s completely optional too but tell me why this game has the most rigged gatcha I’ve ever played lol. Cn players even caught how  rigged the rates were in the games code and I think that’s exactly what’s going on here in the global/American servers. I’m a light spender but after using my free pulls I got all duplicates which is insane and super predatory.

Also annoying with how much maintenance this game has but they still have fixed any of the major bugs the pets have like disappearing through floors, staying on roofs and their interaction buttons completely going away.

I’m obsessed with this game, almost everything is customizable, building is easy and the designs are beautiful. Characters are customizable, and the clothes are unique. The colors are a big plus, I’m not a fan of bright colors and thankfully the color pallet absolutely has dark colors available(super appreciated)! My only suggestion however, please fix the pets, I can’t interact with the pets at times and when I approach them the kitty descends into my roof, other than that, an adorable, entertaining, and easy going game, I’ve recommended it multiple times!

DONT SPEND MONEY ON THE GACHA SYSTEM! It’s a total scam. It’s 95% duplicates, no pity system, nothing is guaranteed, and you can’t pick anything. You get a small amount of tickets per duplicates (I’m talking 5-15) and the pieces that are harder to get cost upwards of 700 tickets.

The games gacha is actually horrendous. Maybe it’s currently bugged, (wouldn’t know because support doesn’t answer and when they do it seems like an ai), but the amount of duplicates you get right now is insane. Not sure if it’s possible to actually pull a relic to get a full set on the moonlight crystal pulls. Other than the gacha and painting issues, there are some bugs that need to be fixed, (Big one is pets glitching onto roofs, under buildings/furniture.)
Also, the Heartopia official Discord is genuinely a train wreck. You can’t even go there to really ask for help, the mods, (not all), they have are quite rude. They also do use ai for the paintings, for anyone that doesn’t know already.

the game uses gen AI for illustrations (puzzles) instead of any of the in-game shots or artist-made pieces. they ban or lock your chats when you discuss in discord.
the gacha system is rigged and predatory. the drop rates are deceptive.
they opened to global players to get more revenue, but do not take global feedback or give global players support for bugs, in-game currency, or controls. they also add paid items, such as elf ears, that do not support all the skin tones implemented in the game. there are no diverse options. masculine players do not have many options for assets either, as they are majority feminine and treats every player as neutral.
predatory gambling mechanics are targeted at children using kid's media to promote in game items worth $100s-1000s. save yourself the time and money and just skip it.

So I make a purchase, and my bank didn’t get the transaction. I thought it could have been sent to my mom’s account cause my mom’s and mine were together on the App Store. I take my mom’s off, then I make two more purchases. But I thought that on my third purchase was when I didn’t receive what I purchased for in the game because my bank wasn’t allowing me yet it allowed me to purchase in the App Store and still didn’t get what I purchased, I didn’t realize that what it was being counted was when I had purchased the third time and the last time I was trying to purchase was my fourth time and my fourth time wasn’t the one being counted cause I check my bank account and there’s only three transactions—showing the first transaction that I thought had gone to my mom’s account.

As a community, we are extremely disappointed with Heartopia. Instead of bringing players together, this latest banner has caused frustration and division.

The banner is clearly rigged: the real chances of getting everything are practically 0%, yet many players have spent hundreds, even over a thousand dollars, with no fair results.

This is not about bad luck — it’s an unfair and non-transparent system. It no longer feels like a fun game, but rather a way to squeeze money out of players.

We want to enjoy Heartopia, not feel deceived. Until this system is fixed and the probabilities are honest, the game does not deserve our support

This game honestly shocked me! It’s like a mix of animal crossing and the sims (to me) with its own twist. You can rate other people’s houses and interact if you want to which is pretty cool. You can fish, farm, catch bugs, cook, THERES CARS- this is on the App Store and not Apple play? Honestly this game blows me away lol 10/10
