The app will not start counting minutes used on my phone if I put my phone on airplane mode at night. The app is running in the background, but will not count minutes unless I bring it up in the morning to ‘restart’ the timer. Super annoying, so I deleted it.
For those like me who didn’t really like previous versions, i think you won’t be loosing your time if you give it another try now! 👏🏼💫🌟 First time i downloaded this app couple weeks(?months?) and 4 others, testing them. I erased it and kept another one. 😬 Few days ago i saw there was an update, so i downloaded it again cuz am curious 😜 and this time am keeping it👍🏼. It feels way more userfriendly now, and after 3 days now i can see it’s accurate.😀 Am giving it a week or two before i decide to go for the Pro version but up to now it would be a yes. Great work on this app guys. 👊🏼😃
Fantastic app that clearly shows and tracks your phone habits, when you have picked up the phone and turned it on to how much time you are spending on it. I tried the no phone challenges and I was really surprised at how difficult I found leaving my phone alone. This is a game changer for me. Now armed with the knowledge of how much time I spend on my phone, I can start to take steps to reduce my usage and be more present. I realize that I am on my phone while writing this review ;0)
I love this app, and as a meditation teacher, I suggest it for everyone I teach especially those looking for freedom from their devices. Although the free version presents very sobering statistics, I suggest the paid version for more reports and more tools to help you/me/is use technology to our benefit (and not our detriment)!
It's good and it works but it's too expensive
The usage tracking features in the app are good, however it disables use of iPhone's internal alarm clock, rendering it completely unusable for me.
Not bad but I don't like that always use location. And can only see daily/weekly stats as opposed to monthly as well with upgrade.
What I need
There isn't reasonably this app needs continuous access to my location to do what it says it will do (that is, track how often I pick up my phone). Why does it need access to my location at all? That is just creepy. The app continuously shuts down and will not function without access to my location. I am deleting it from my phone. Off to find a different, less creepy app.
