上海交通大學醫學院附屬新華醫院神經外科主任李世亭提到過，「不管什麽頭痛，都是有原因的，如果不把頭痛當回事，會把真正的疾病掩蓋掉，甚至有時候會延誤重大疾病，導致非常不好的結果，甚至危及生命」。

對於醫生而言，「見了頭痛的病人，醫生也頭痛」。其原因就是因為頭痛太復雜了。診斷頭痛的病人，需要醫生的經驗，更需要患者詳細的描述。患者提供的信息越準確，越會幫助醫生很快捕捉重要信息，可以早期診斷。

⌜頭痛日記⌟是一款免費且無廣告的app，目的在於幫助記錄頭痛信息並匯總，導出供醫生參考。可以隨時記錄頭痛的信息，包括時間，強度，頭痛性質，誘因以及頭疼位置等20多項信息。App也添加了統計和導出功能，可以導出PDF格式和Excel格式的報告，希望能更有效方便的的幫助頭痛的診斷，希望會有所幫助。
