I’ve been playing this game (along with others of the developer) for ages now, I haven’t seen much updates with this particular one in a long time. I’ve arrived at the stage where I’ve upgraded all my Senate buildings, completed all my campaigns, beat every conquest map with multiple 1,2,3 star difficulty nations. The hero expeditions were soon running out of fun and I need something new to grind on! Please update conquests as they are my favorites (more time consuming I suppose and just interesting to see the diverse factions interact). Alternatively, it would be great to add in new (unique) troops for different factions to differentiate between different factions, or else it feels the same playing different factions and isn’t as exciting.

Great Conqueror: Rome has been one of the best historical war games I’ve ever seen and it delivers so much! The addition of your own commander is so exciting as you are able to level it up as you go along. However, there is a few things I ask. The max level of generals doesn’t allow me to fully upgrade them sometimes, and if I were to buy a general I must ask that I’m able to get the absolute best out of it, even if that means all generals have mixed max levels, it would keep me busy upgrading and levelling them up, like the custom commander. Also, buying generals isn’t easy as you need medals which can be a challenge, why don’t you add a buy with gold option or something, just to make it a little easier. I’ve also played many other of your games, it would be nice if the others had the custom commander as well as this one. As without one at your own customisation, it doesn’t feel as fun. Anyway, amazing game! Keep the updates coming!

This game is like the most fun game to play when ur bored. Actually anytime really! My only problem with it is that if ur like on the Roman side for example, the Romans die and u get like crowded by loads of troops from like a billion nations and like all of ur allies r dead. But if ur on the other side, the Roman side destroy all ur allies! It’s kinda unfair but still really fun and it is still possible. Btw don’t listen to how hard it says a nation is, it isn’t always true. Have fun!

Some people might think this game is too hard, and it does require a lot of patience and time. 
The quickest way to earn medals to get good generals is to play campaign and watch the 3 videos everyday, you have a equal chance of getting 12 medals or 1500 coins. Don’t bother with conquest as it’s too difficult, takes hours and the rewards aren’t very much. However if you want the first conquest is quite easy (I won without generals!!!) Play as Carthage, and just build lots of waves, you’ll probably get defeated several times, but keep spamming troops and you can win under 70 moves (probs). 
The first general I recommend is Arminius (horse dude). I would train your own commander to max archer, then build up the other stats. Second general I got was Pompey, but basically any infantry general is good. 
I haven’t spent any money, and I’m on the Gallic campaign (which is pretty mediocre 😆). There are some spelling/grammar errors, but that’s because of the language barrier.
I think this is a great game however, just requires a bit of effort. Always check the aims for the campaigns, and look at the map to see roughly what you should do. Don’t forget to surround your enemies, and in conquest, capturing all a countries’ cities wipes them all out.
