I've just started learning Mandarin, and like most people who are unfamiliar with writing Chinese characters, I'm anxious to learn how to write properly. This app lets you search for characters in a variety of useful ways, and shows examples in raster and vector formats, from different calligraphic styles. You get a great idea of the range of acceptable ways to write characters. Excellent work! I'd love it if the labels explaining which script the characters belong to were in English as well as Chinese - but that's a minor point, and it'll just encourage me to learn more quickly!
