Focus Traveller - Flow Timer

I was immediately sold on this app when I was presented with a John Muir quote upon first opening the app (section hiked the JMT a couple of years ago!). This app is absolutely gorgeous and stands out from the crowd when compared to other focus apps purely for the beautiful art style and the concept of climbing mountains. It really does motivate me to keep going when I see my little character making progress towards the top. As I’m self employed, I find it really helpful to look back to see how much (or how little!) work I’ve done. The music is really great too and is lovely for when I just want to be calm and zone out. I’m really pleased to have this app and look forward to climbing many mountains with it! I especially look forward to whenever the pomodoro timer is going to be added as that will be a really useful feature. My only gripe is that some of the grammar in notifications isn’t great (perhaps English isn’t the creators first language?), which bugs me a bit whenever they pop up, but that’s a small issue in an otherwise really lovely app with a beautiful art style to enjoy while working or studying.

Everything is great but I feel like it would be useful if you added a tag for subjects. So when you get to the end of the month you can see how much of each subject you have done

Really good for studying and focusing they don’t ask you to pay a crazy amount of money for premium it’s literally £1 a month and £7 to keep premium forever.

I really like this app. The opportunities for customisation are awesome and the graphics are so cool. But my total timing hasn’t been added up properly and it says that total study time isn’t as much as I have actually done, with hours difference between the two scores. Also I think it would be very beneficial to change the total timings into hours, as having it as days isn’t the most effective way, and can be very confusing at times. For example, I only started using the app in September with the start of my new school year, and when I click the option for the year’s pie chart, it says total is 1 day 18 hours (which would honestly work better as 42 hours) but at the bottom of the page my total is 1 day and 12 hours, which is 6 hours of hard work difference. I do overall really like the app, but I think there’s a few areas of improvement such as the settings of time and the total time calculations. I was considering switching to another app but that would be a lot of hard work down the drain. Please fix up :)

This app so is calming and good! It has free music and you have your own little traveler that you can name that tracks your study’s ( adventures). This app is so underrated I would defo recommend for anyone who wants to focus more.

Just wish you could record time manually afterwards in case you forgot starting the app or want to add time from a previous app.

It doesn’t allow data to be shown in Hours. It only has one setting/unit that says in days. Would like a new functionality that allows the data to be shown in terms of Hours: how many hours I’ve worked on a project instead of overall 2 days 5 hours. The latter doesn’t make sense since I may have spent 27hours in total in the span of 1 week on a project, and the data says “1day&3h” is just a bit counterintuitive. I wanted to write the review by contacting the team however the app doesn’t give me such option. Everytime when I click “Contact Us” in settings, it says “you have not set up your email in the device settings”. While there is no such option available on the settings page… please fix …

this app is great and really underrated imo, i love the art design and the overall aesthetic of the app and how easy it is to use + being able to do sessions with your friends is great maybe something to add to the app would be so you can see your friend's individual sessions? like the individual times and the name of their ones like flora i think it would be interesting and also being able to join their session when they're in the middle of one if they have a setting to allow that (my bad if these are already available i haven't used it much yet)

This is adorable app and it rly helps me get off my phone while revising for exams! The animations r sick and it’s great 10/10
