Dream Detective: Merge Game

The new merge gameplay style is the worst. The game was so much better when it was a search & find. The characters and art were great, their little sayings were fun and whimsical, and the puzzles were fun. I used to play with my son. This new change is nothing like the old, and it feels like a cheap money-grab game. Also what’s with the old guy character? is that based on someone or something? He’s a creepy addition - feels like someone with an ego said “put me in the game”

I’ve checked to see if there was a update nope. Uninstalled and reinstalled it. It’s still not working an I can’t even get it to the tap anywhere part.

I miss the old game. I like this one, the merging is fun, but I miss the other types of activities that the other game had too.

I find myself playing this game pretty often throughout the day. It’s addicting and it not stressful

Overall the normal gameplay is amazing, it’s well paced and I like how you can choose what you want to do. However I have a few pieces of feedback regarding the events that you earn new characters from. I’ve noticed unless your on it 24/7, have a lot of gems to pay for energy and time skips it’s almost impossible to even come close to completing certain events that earn you a character maybe shorten or make it easier for people to get them. That’s my only problem with it.

I downloaded after seeing an add that showed spooky instructions/detective style game. I played through till I entirely unlocked the “mystery simulation zone “ and it’s still just a merge game. Skip.

The mini game no longer appears? I don’t know if that’s due to the level you’re at. And I can’t seem to find any other “lone handles” and it doesn’t tell me how to get them.

So this game is pretty fun. It is your typical merge game there is a little mystery to it but it’s not a hidden object game as it first appears to be. There is some hidden stuff of course but you have to merge items on a board to uncover. It is fun though and you don’t have to spend money but it will take you a bit to advance as you will have to wait for your energy. I still enjoy it

Is this an actual detective game with mystery or hidden objects? Or is this just another merge game?
