Why can’t we highlight the paragraph with different colour in this AI age?

No 2 pages mode, no page flip mode for pdf, why 3rd parties app can do this but you can’t?

Actually, I use it for reading my class note. It is very useful because when I mark note on the book, it would not make the file size bigger. However, I found an issue of this application which cannot use the ruler to apply on the highlight pen on my PDF format file. Please improve this issue. I’m not the first time complaint of this issue.
