Great map that has a beautiful interface with BMW cars ( apple carplay) and communicates well with your iPhone and Iwatch, however needs an URGENT update, the software would choose odd directions and is far from being accurate, for the moment far from being a challenge to Waze or Google maps!
Hope that the team at apple will give it a little more attention.

I tried apple maps for the first time about a few days ago before posting this review, a commute which I usually do that takes about 10 minutes, apple maps gave me a completely different route through the other side of the country, totaling in a 2 and a half hour trip!!!

I’m missing some key features: 1. Multiple stops on route. 2. Missing places to search by their name. Some places are not updated and it takes me elsewhere which is time critical and missing it’s core functionality. 3. Missing trafic that holds up. 4. Missing cops and hazards on route. 
Other than that, this is a great app and I even deleted Waze to use it, but I can’t. Waiting for your update to continue using it on a daily basis.

The app is omitting info about Israeli cities in the Golan area and naming them in arabic.

I don’t use Arabic language in any place in my IPhone. But it’s on Arabic. Nothing to do with this maps, but it uses by other functions of IPhone. And fails also them!

I’m using my device system language in English, Israel region, why is the voice in the app in Russian and I can’t change it.

I use English as my device system language but still prefer to use maps in Hebrew, there is no option to change the entire app language and it’s very frustrating. 
No option to change to light mode without changing the entire device to light mode. 
No way to always use light mode with car play. 
The app has bad search UI for car play and you can’t see recent searches. 
Also the map needs to be updated more frequently, it’s not always updated with the latest changes on the road or new businesses, tells you to turn left while the traffic light doesn’t have a left turn anymore.

The is by far the best invention ever… my only complain came recently with the war between israel and the arabs, the app appears in arab and doesn’t connect to the reality. It is so sad and so frustrating because something has happend, they did something. Hope someone could help
