PSS Jan 20 2025 please can we have a Save Route option, to recall, use and re-edit. The only place is Recent and it’s very flaky and unpredictable. If we had SaveRoute and could give it a name for use again later would be fantastic. 
PS July 30 2024 it’s improving, but while navigating a multi stop route, I click on ‘Route Options’ I can now add stops to a route without Ending the route BUT IT PUTS THE NEW STOP AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ROUTE which may be three stops behind me, I cannot drag it to where I need it. - To do that I have to End Route, go to recent, which is like history, pick up the route i just ended to edit it drag and drop the order and restart. So clunky really. I’m guessing the iOS programmers all use Google Maps.

Apple Maps is a truly amazing app. Its UI is clean, minimalist, functional and easy to use. I have found it to be easier to use than Google Maps and it’s more fast and fluid. Its street view function is also better than Google’s one.

I really really really want to use Apple Maps. But even after all those years I still can’t. Navigation while showing a satellite view is an ABSOLUTE MUST, and for some reason it is still missing this most basic capability that renders the whole app useless.

Love this app - great instructions & ability to have multiple stops. 
BUT….  There a loads of road changes that have not been updated into the app.  Also changes to speed limits have not been updated.  Many of these changes have been in place for a few years.

This app is of almost no use, especially in areas with poor cell coverage.  Using offline maps it will not give directions, even if you have data and coverage.  It seems unable to locate nearby places when travelling, it often defaults to locations in another country.  In short it is substandard clunky, a complete waste of space.
This app is almost enough for me to abandon apple as a device provider, as I have to install a google product to provide an acceptable performance.

Some woke computer geek has decided that we should all be learning to speak and write in the language of every country we may ever want to visit, fly over, or simply want to look up something.
Place names in countries where they use a different alphabet used to be shown in English as well as in their own language, but now they no longer bother with this common courtesy.
Apparently now I have to learn Greek to know where my sister has gone on holiday, and Vietnamese to see where my friends went.
If I were emigrating somewhere I would totally expect to be required to learn the language, but I’m not even travelling to these places myself. This is ridiculous.
What is wrong with showing place names across the world also in English, in the English-language version of this app?

### **--- "Frustrating when opening maps"
Frustrating to use when you have to use it for multiple addresses each day. When you get to your destination or near to it, if you swipe it to close it, when you open it again it should be ready to accept a new address or give an option to continue the previous route. Instead when you open it, it goes right back to your last route and starts giving you directions again, and you have to wait for it to then get out of the directions and end route, usually takes a few steps, just ridiculous. I swipe it up and close it out because I no longer need it, when I reopen it, I should be able to immediately enter a new address and go.

Piss poor directions no ability to reroute itself. Ridiculous instructions miles away from the airport let alone the international terminal and as far as the new drop off zone. Lol. And parking it just had a complete meltdown. 
It’s usually good once you’ve been somewhere once but as a go to for a new destination waste of time. Trying to put another destination in it just keeps doing the first destination you put in. Sometimes if you completely shut your phone down and restart it again it will take a new destination. Google maps is way easier to use and has the ability to reroute itself quickly. 
Apple becomes better if you are going to the same destination learns like a toddler where google dives in like an adult and does its best.
