Arc Search — Find it, Faster

There are a very very few amount of downsides, which include google redirection popping up when I open the app, but besides that this app is pretty amazing. Not to mention the computer browser which is dimensions ahead of google chrome. Would rather use this than chrome any day

Arc Search brings the best of Arc on Mac to iOS and iPadOS (yes, it’s optimized for iPads of all sizes) with its Auto Archive Tabs feature—and exclusive features Summarize, Browse For Me, and Ask Arc (which I wish would all come to Arc on Mac). While I know that this review sounds like an ad, it’s not. I just found Arc Search really useful personally as a Safari user. I can also completely manage Arc on Mac tabs too. But I do miss Safari’s Hide Distracting Items” and Reader Mode.

Plus it’s built on WebKit, so battery life and performance aren’t degraded, which can’t be said for Arc on MacOS & Windows.

I like the style of this app, but there’s one thing that keeps me from making this app my default browser. I wish they could add private browsing with password just like in safari.

I hope you make the Split View available on iPads.

Seriously, this is one of the fastest (if not the fastest) browsers I’ve ever experienced. I’ve made it my default on both my iPhone and iMac. I recommend it to all Gen Z users for its minimalistic design and seamless functionality. To the developers and owners: This app literally made my day! Keep it up—we need more of this! I hope it doesn’t get lost in the market like the basic rule of supply and demand. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Really like the inclusion of references in “Search for me” Please consider making a widget

I LOVE the new improvements - the Call Arc, the auto summaries - the app is still not optimized for iPad. It still look like an iPhone app on the iPad AND IT WON’T EVEN LET ME CHANGE THE ICON COLOR on the iPad. That is how terribly it works on that platform. This is the only thing stopping me from making Arc my default browser; because devs haven’t given much attention to making it work nicely and properly on the iPad. The Easels would tie in nicely in an artist’s workflow if it just worked well on the iPad. I hope Arc on iPad is given more justice because I love the ideas implemented on the browser.

Great for a search and go scenario. And the built-in ad blocker is great when viewing news site with lots of ads
