Makes me feel better.
ARFID is so unknown in the US, and it feels very isolating to be eating such a limited menu at my age. This app makes me feel less alone! I'm very excited that it even exists!

I like the long list of food options, and the fact that you can share your list either people. But the food. Goals need an option to set notifications so that you can be reminded to stay on top of this.
This helps me so much. I have been thinking about making a list of foods I like because of my ARFID and this app makes it so simple.
Love this app for my arfid
I am an autistic adult with untreated ARFID, and this app is honestly super helpful than the dietriciantists Ive had growing up who couldn't figure out why I was "so scare of food" as an adult, I learned what ARFID was, and exposure therapy sounds terrifying to me, and I love this app because you can add notes, variety, and I love the descriptions & pictures!! I love how you can set goals too ✨I'm so grateful for this app, again thank you ❤️✨
I have had AFRID ever since I was child, and I am currently trying to overcome it. There is nothing more reassuring when being able to track my progress, and this app does just that. I love that most food items come with their own description, as well as the fact that you’re able rate to them. 10 out of 10! Would recommend anyone!
This will me keep track of my kiddo’s “safe” foods and keep enough of them on hand at home - her preferences change often and she has some feeding therapy goals - it’s hard to keep track
Great resource! So amazing that this app exists. Perfect for organization, understanding food groups, and learning about different foods.
Having something so simple & so straightforward for a “simple” problem is amazing. My issue is “simple”: I’m picky and I want to try new foods but it gets overwhelming. In swoops Pitaya! I’ve only had it a day or two, but I’ve really enjoyed categorizing my foods and reading descriptions of food I want to try. Those are very helpful by the way. I have severe anxiety (ARFID- Avoidant) around trying new foods, new anything really. I hate not knowing what to expect so those descriptions really help. I’d love in the future to have some sort of “achievement” chart to look at & share. Like “Here are the foods you tried last week/month!” My friends have been very encouraging with this process and I’d love to show off my progress. The “punch card” idea for trying new food is genius!! They say it can take up to 15x of trying something to truly know if you like it. I like that we can adjust it how we want!! It would be cool to have a diary aspect (tried blueberries this day w/ Jane, tried them this day w/ John at this restaurant). I know there’s a note section but maybe something with more purpose? Those are just ideas. I really, truly love this app already and think it’s a marvelous idea. Thank you so much 💕🙏
Seriously needed an app like this!
