If you’re a beginner, I cannot suggest a simpler and more accurate solution for automated Astrophotography. Ideally with this hobby you do not want to have stand by your equipment and fiddle especially during long winter nights. This simple all-in-one solution let’s you set and forget. My last target rose at 1am. I got 3-1/2 hours of acquisition time while I lay cozy in my bed. Took my flat frames in the morning and stowed my equipment. Thank you ZWO a thousand times for making this possible for a less than scientific person like me. Edit: well, it completely bricked after the previous update and is now longer usable. ZWO’s solution is to remote into my network to fix it which isn’t a possibility for me. Not taking pics now until I master NINA

This app and the device it goes with are a true game changer for astrophotography. It has made it simple, cost effective and convenient. What an amazing application and team behind it.

Was awesome. Even though they didn’t support the Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro, there was a ZWO work around. Then they updated to 1.8, and didn’t give the option to keep the version that worked. Now, my ASIAIR Pro and S-W EQ6-R Pro are a very expensive brick. ZWO, you used to be 5 stars… just let us roll back to older software. Support your users, please!

ZWO are true pioneers in Astrophotography! I sometimes still can’t believe all the features ASIair Pro has and that I can sit in my living room and I can not only control my telescope, cameras and accessories but see a live stack of all the pictures and review the ones that I took and delete bad subs. Very thankful for these people!

This works great with my camera and filter wheel, but when I try to connect my Meade LXD75 it might connect for 5sec if I am lucky then it always looses connection. Usually it never connects though. Maybe it is some stupid mistake that I am making, but I can’t get it to work. I do all this while standing next to the ASI plus, so it shouldn’t be a WiFi problem.

I have an iPad (10th generation) and the app doesn’t work. At the stage when I’m supposed to select the gears, the app is stuck at “ASIAIR not found” and “service unconnected”. If I click on scan, I get an error message “allow ASIAIR to access your home network and WiFi”. So, I go to settings to do it but the app doesn’t appear on the left of the setting menu. I go to “privacy and security > local network” and turn on ASIAIR, still, the app doesn’t connect. I didn’t find the magical trick to make it work.

The pixelated red, green and blue dots are more numerous in this 2.1.2 update. Just passing it along to the team. Have images available to show if interested.

If you live the ZWO life, then this is your one stop shop, especially for a portable rig. This really does it all, or at least everything ZWO does. However, you’re locked into the TERRIBLE customer service and exceptionally limited ecosystem if you go this route. Say goodbye to other cameras or filter wheels. Forget about custom flat rotator solutions. For a branch of an open source software, they have limited it so much. It’s great for what it does, but the limitations become infuriating after a while.

It’s saying Sony a1 supported but it’s not. I was part of the beta, sharing in the forum, sharing on the app, opening a bug ticket but no one to help or even to answer. I was trying every single configuration and it’s not supported. I’m sad to see the lack of support I was trying the Sony a7rv as well and it’s not working too

The app is so buggy it fails trying to create an account. The asiair is being returned I refuse to reward developers that create this terrible of products with my $$$…
