I super love the app, very easy to use and can come up with a very beautiful and artistic creation. The only problem is the recent drawing that i just finished disappeared and cnt totally retrieve it. Is there anyway to retrieve it?

Awesome app that simulates very natural looking pencil/charcoal sketches. App allowed to do decent sketches even on my iPhone's tiny screen. Only drawback for now is that it has yet to use the full resolution of the retina display. Otherwise, 5 stars.

Found the swipe method to select pencil style not working most of the time and takes several attempts. The way to select pencil thickness could be simpler too.

Still the best sketching app out there. Doesn’t get in the way of you working. Much more like traditional materials than any other app I have used, and I have used most of the well known ones. Some of those are also great, but tend to require you to adapt to them.

Yes, it’s uncomplicated. It has a pencil and eraser, color picker, black and white, undó and redo, save and delete. What it doesn't have is the ability to select a color on the paper or the ability to save colors- at least afaict. It’s strange not to have those because they simulate colored pencils - not oils or acrylic, where it's almost a given that the artist will mix paints and produce shades that aren't in the box. I can blend pencils, too, but I can also reach into my tray of Prismacolor pencils and pull out a specific color. Not here. Here, I have to guess or approximate what I used 7 layers previously. Whoops! No layers either? Granted, this has good pressure sensitivity, but in so many other ways, Apple’s Markup can do so much more, even if I only use the pencil and none of the other tools.

It is the best. I wish i could use the ipad storage or to use the icloud storage so I could keep a copy. Please?

Love this app.

Like procreate is fun. But this is just right all the time without a bunch of options to clutter up your idea. I’ve sat on the train here in Japan sketching people. It’s fantastic

I love it! It’d be cool to have layers and maybe a solid brush but eh. The simplicity works.

I couldn’t alter my previous review but I want to state that I love this app. You can open it quickly to get your idea down and I like the quality of the brushstroke. The only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s taken so long to get a reply to my question. A stupid question, yes, but some of us just can’t slow down to figure technology out😆
