No mention of needing to pay to access the app….
I used this at the Panama City airport while traveling internationally, and I found the Best gluten free snacks. Life saver.
It’s not free. It’s $70/year. It doesn’t really allow for users to write “don’t recommends”. Feel like this was made to benefit the restaurant industry vs actual celiac patrons. Recommend findmeglutenfree.com and their app.
This app feels like it was made by people who truly understand what it’s like to live gluten-free. The recommendations and filters are so thoughtful.
The filters are excellent for finding family-friendly restaurants. My child has a wheat allergy and is sensitive to lactose, so dining out can be challenging. This map has helped us filter out suitable places, and so far, it has worked really well for us.
why would I pay for this when there are free options?
Apparently now if you have an illness or a food restriction, everything that comes after is a luxury. I can't believe that at this point in the game, after having seen thousands of videos advertising the app without clarifying that it is only paid, we are asking for the most basic thing. making a profit from health is horrible, they could make part free and part paid like any app on the market. I hope they see that it is a right to eat with celiac disease and not a privilege.
I have tried many apps in my 12 years of having celiac disease and for me this is my fav! It’s so easy to locate restaurants near me when I am traveling that are gluten free…even in airports!! Plus I’ve found restaurants I would have never found or known were 100% gf. Another great feature of this app is that the Atly team contacts each restaurant to ask about their gluten free procedures and people who have gone there give really honest reviews. Highly recommend trying it for yourself.
I love to use this app while traveling to new places. I also, like uploading my photos and reviews to help others.
$20/MONTH to find gluten free spots to eat??? I get that you have a “dedicated team,” and I am not going to pretend to know your overhead, but there’s got to be a better way to make money for this. You’re spending so much money on influencers to advertise for you- why?? Then we have to pay for it??? This could be such a great concept if it didn’t prey on an already vulnerable population. I’d even pay a smaller amount to use this app, but to be honest I’ve found comparable information on findmeglutenfree.com. So, I’m going to stick with that. Life is way too expensive right now to do something like this, but hey, if you have an extra $240/year to spend on an app just to find food, go for it.
