Audiobooks HQ +

I find this app easy to use for listening to free books. Extra points for being able to control the reading speed and set a sleep timer.

App has good potential I can see, but having just bought a book which I wanted particularly in audio, buying it with Apple pay, I cannot find it anywhere on or through the Audiobook app, newly downloaded !! It does rather defeat the whole purpose. I have downloaded some Victor Borge from the ‘Old Time Radio’ free section which as a classical music lover, will be fun. I will continue my searching, it may just turn up??

Unbelievable!!!!!! Been listening to this app for over 5 years now and have just started listening to books starting with the letter C I don’t think I’ll ever finish all the books in this app unless I live to be a 100 or so. Lol. And u know what, it’s free, woo hoo. I’ve learned and gained so much knowledge from books I would normally not have read or listened to. Go ahead and give it a go.

Am absolutely exasperated by this app. It doesn’t keep my place when I stop for more than about five minutes, insisting I go back to the beginning. Bookmarks are temperamental , some seem to stick and some not. It doesn’t let me navigate by chapters as described. Totally frustrating and I am getting no joy from online help or by email.

Really good to listen to archived clips we would otherwise maybe not be aware of.

It’s a shame that you can’t ‘pause’ a book and carry-on from where you left off

Enjoyed immensely! I do love this regardless of how many times I have read/listened/watched on screen. I feel that the narrator has a wonderful voice and did justice to the characters. Thank you xx

Wasn't to sure what to say . But judging by the other Apps I tried.This a very good apps indeed .The format,and simplicity impressed me the most.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I listen to audiobooks I have a tendency to stop actually listening but somehow I can plow through a 2000 page book in a week in the gym without even realizing that much time passed by. All I need to say is cardio with a classic on is the best thing to make time pass by and the workout feels shorter somehow! Just a tip.
