### ***** "Amazing rewrites from messy thoughts"
I've been using this app for a while and it's amazing. I can talk in a messy and unstructured way and the result is amazing. From daily diary entries to ideas to comments about books, it's great. For me what stands out is the quality of the rewrite

There is nothing free, it actively pushes for people to pay for their pro version..nothing else.
I downloaded it upon suggestion from a workshop ( probably paid by the company), I decided to trial the free version and then eventually move to the paid one if I liked it. The problem is the free version is useless, I made a 2 minutes voice note in plain english and it’s been 40 minutes saying “preparing transcription” and then it does nothing. Every time the phone locks or I receive a notification, it will stop and say “transcription failed, retry”. Complete waste of time. I am deleting my account and the app the second I finish this review. It clearly just pushes for paid version.

There are a lot of similar transcription apps but AudioPen is the most polished and focused. It just needs Shortcuts and a watch app and it's 5*.
