This app is tough to get working because it doesn’t fully integrate with the rest of the Disney application.

Once you get it going, you can’t do some useful things like online ordering for one of the restaurants seen your agenda and seeing your bill.   Keep improving and better integration with the regular Disney World application would be helpful

I downloaded this app and was able to sign in using my Disney account credentials. However when I tried to retrieve my reservation, I was defeated by the checkin date picker tool. On my iPhone, I could define the date, but there was no way to enter it for the retrieval form, and no way to back out of the picker. Would love to just enter my/dd/yyyy into that box!

I tried to link my reservation and it says “it’s already been claimed”. Yes my wife linked it to her Disney account. I’m trying to do the same to me Disney account - we each obviously have our own phones. But oddly that’s not supported?! So I guess I won’t really use the app

Looks pretty to start, but clunky, missing key information, needs lots of work.  Main example, where are the menus for the restaurants, just have a link to one, Ulu Cafe, but nothing for the others.  Another example, information about Casabellas and Cabanas are, I guess, under “Shaded Retreats”, but then that’s for only a few locations.  On the key information side, no information about check in or check out hours, or the available lounge.  Lastly, my favorite, the “Retrieve Reservation” is nice enough to say “Welina” but then the button just keeps asking for the reservation information, it never updates, should say times in and out at least.  These are just some examples, activities area wasn’t too great, when you get to “make reservation” it doesn’t tell you if fully booked, you just have to assume that it is because it doesn’t open, as the ones available did, at least for the Ukulele lesson my son wanted.

I can’t correct the spelling of my name on my email address on this app on my profile. So I deleted it thinking I could start over. Nope, you can’t do that. It now just says the account has been deleted so now I can’t even log on or start a new account. I called Aulani, and they were no help because they had no idea either how to fix it either. What a waste of time and so frustrating. Why bother to call their service an app!

Many features re-prompt for credentials and then just kick you back to the previous page without even opening the page you were trying to look at. For example under Plans not possible to open Dining. Under profile not possible to open Magic Bands.

Having been very familiar to the Disneyland app this one was a disappointment. My gosh… couldn’t book anything directly through the app, had to click click click and finally accidentally stumble across what I’m looking for. There’s no search bar. If this app was more like the Disneyland app it would have made our trip so much more organized and enjoyable. It was hard to coordinate activities or see what was available. Fix it!

This app is completely useless. The map locations are incorrect - show bathrooms in the middle of hot tubs. No menus for restaurants. Literally what is the point of you have to go to the website to find any information anyway??? Disney needs to do better especially for the cost of staying at the resort.

Never could get the room key to work on our stay. 3/4 of the time the one mobile order restaurant didn’t even show up in the app to order from. (Not user error, we use the WDW app frequently with no issues.) It would really be helpful to give full menus & notate cup refill stations in the dining section. And it’s a shame that photos require downloading the Disneyland app.

App isn’t as helpful as the Disney World app but my main complaint is booking an activity. 
It looks like it take you to a web based site outside of the app. It isn’t stable and constantly locks up. I’ve been trying to book an activity for over an hour with no success. I’ve rebooted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, as well as closed it and started over many times now. It continues to lockup on the last screen. This is incredibly frustrating since some of the activities book quick and I don’t have all day to mess with it. 
I also couldn’t just find the regular website to book on a computer.

All three of our aulani apps worked for us to open our door the first day and then on the second day two of our mobile keys on the app don’t work and everyone multiple times have told me the app should open our room will work and low and behold do not work and do not know what is going on with the app system

App is basically a hotel map with daily schedule of activities. Need further development to integrate all aspects of ones reservation. Specifically, being able to see dining, and excursion reservations. Possibly being able to see room invoice to keep track of expenses. Lastly, having the opportunity or use the app as a room key, access device through out hotel est. We have experienced these in hotels of less stature, so we were surprised to see Aulani still has a long way to go with technology.

The only thing that it might be useful for is ordering takeout food.  Otherwise there is absolutely no reason to get this app.  It needs so much work to make it usable.  It doesn’t have your restaurant reservations on it.  You have to continually sign in and try and link room reservation.  Still have to have room key to charge to room. Terrible app!
