Aura has been an absolute disaster!! When I started using them 1.5 years ago, they seemed promising, but it’s been nothing but a nightmare since. I signed up for the couples service and never got to use it because my husband’s account never worked. Despite countless attempts to fix it, their glitchy app and website made everything impossible. To make matters worse, they kept charging me incorrectly for a service I couldn’t even use.

Customer service is a complete joke—I was on hold for 30+ minutes multiple times with no one answering. Canceling? Forget it. They force you to call, but no one picks up. Months later, I found an option to schedule a callback, but guess what? They never called.

Aura is beyond incompetent and utterly shameless for charging people for a service they clearly can’t provide. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. This company is a SCAM

I would like to see what this app has offer, but I’m setting up my new account entering my name number and Social Security number, etc. it keeps telling me my info is invalid.   I signed up the most premium subscription and I can’t even get past the initial account set up phase. 

PLEASE ADVISE!

P.S. I know one of the trouble shooting questions you are likely to ask is whether or not my iOS is up-to-date and it is; I’m on 18.3 so it shouldn’t be the issue.

This app is glitchy at best.  It makes phones unusable at times and that’s when I do nothing that should change anything.  It’s not accurate and it doesn’t even show you exactly what blocked sites were visited or attempted.  It’s terrible especially for the high price.

Disappointed in various areas this “App” is supposedly monitoring. Difficult to understand what is happening with their notations and no explanations/hyperlinks. As for removing name from sites selling personal information, it seems it’s automated and not well at that. VPN and info provided (servers) is non existent. VPN goes on and off all day long. Not sure about this product or service.

Overall I feel protected with this app. But we have run into a few very inconvenient issues with it blocking things that shouldn’t be blocked. We spent about two hours on the phone with our WiFi/cell provider bc we couldn’t get on the internet at all for days. Turns out, once we deleted the Aura app, everything worked perfectly. We want to be protected but aura needs to work out some kinks in the system to better determine where, when and how they’re protecting us.
