(Driving seems like an obvious use case for recording voice memos?) Another plus is the simplicity of the "append" feature, compared to the number of steps needed to edit a recording in iOS Voice Memos. While the latter does allow edits in the middle of a recording, nine times out of ten all I want to do is continue where I left off and this app makes it extremely simple to do that. The app developer is very responsive to support emails - he got back to me right away with an answer to my question. I won’t go into the details of the benefits of recording voice memos here; if you don’t find voice memos useful, more power to you, and if you do find voice memos useful, then you know what I’m talking about. And now finally, such a thing exists! I use Auto Memo Recorder every time I drive, and the developer is updating the functionality regularly. Bonus: it’s a one-time payment, no subscription fee.
