It can’t recognize difference between audio book and music also don’t stop recording in the morning and crashes a lot

This developers application AutoSleep is absolutely stellar. I use it daily, and so hoped this would be a well developed and natural pairing. It has promise, and if they attend to it as they have with AutoSleep, I’m sure it will be excellent. However, right now, it is missing the essential user ability to filter the noises that it records as “not snoring”. This means it generates a score based on all background noises, even those that are not snoring. I use a television show that puts me to sleep almost instantly, but that means there is roughly 25 minutes of recorded noise that is calculated as snoring. SnoreLab, a competing app, allows you to designate recorded noise as “not snoring”. This feature is necessary for me to make use of the app. I hope they prioritize adding this feature and I will change my review. Good stuff, though, keep up the good work!

I wish I would have been told it wouldn’t work if you listen to something to go to sleep. I’ve only had it for a few days, but I haven’t gotten to use it yet because I’ve fallen asleep to my podcast. If I don’t fall asleep I could close my podcast and push start. I’ll have to see how it works whenever I can manage to push start with nothing else running. I was hoping it would work since my podcast stops by itself, but it didn’t.

I am a longtime user of AutoSleep, and I love it! I was expecting something similar here. Unfortunately, as a user of a BluTooth sleep mask (another game changer!) to listen to Calm or Audible to drift off to sleep (again, highly recommended), this app is simply worthless to me.

Purchased, installed and set all the settings and I have no idea what is going on. Will reach out for help and report back!

I bought this app to help track possible sleep disturbances. It identified some disturbances during the night. It even saved short sound clips for review. I think my snore count may be too high. I stopped one session before falling asleep. Even though I was awake, the app reported a significant number of snores. I give major points to the developer for no subscription and no data collection! I haven’t had the app long enough to form a final opinion yet. I will edit my review after I spend more nights with it.

Unfortunately, this app has not provided me with any information. I think the issue is I listen to music for relax to go to sleep and my speaker does not have a microphone. So there app is unable to use a mic to capture any snoring that may happen. This is interesting in Autodleep will let me know that there was loud noises during the night. 🤔 Can auto be configured to always use the mic on the phone?

I would like to be able to start AutoSore recording from my iWatch. Much more accurate when there is a second person in the room getting ready for bed.

Very helpful to see snoring intensity. It helps bring more essential data to AutoSleep. Loving forward to more advanced data in the future, such as, understanding your body position during high and low snoring.

Requires you to manually trigger recording to start, not automatic whatsoever. Waste of $5
