App works when it wants hasn’t been a update in years
With the update to 16.2 this app broke in that you can no longer access any menu items and the display only uses 1/2 of the screen. Needs an immediate update.
The app interface for Video etc is appaling; as if no one has opened a competitive App to try to match. Recently, a new problem arose with my Norton VPN without warning. Avycon worked perfectly with this software for a couple of years. Then stopped altogether. Aftera tedious 2-3 hours of research, I found the answer, ie turn the VPN off. My low voltage specialist showed me the new AVYCON ONE app that is supposed to be better. Not sure how it is supposed to be installed but so far is not working with my existing installation. In short, if you like complexity, difficult, non intuitive and troubleshooting on your own for hours then go for it.
I have used this app for three years with no problems until three weeks ago when the new version came out. Spent five hours with the support tech trying to find the problem. The solution is that I have to turn off my VPN to view my cameras.
Everything had been working fine until Monday (7 November 2022). I went to check my cameras and received a quick “Your App Has Crashed” message…and now my cameras are no longer visible on my phone. Unfortunately this was a day before I left to go out of town on business, and was not able to watch my daughter get on the bus in mornings. PLEASE ADVISE!
NOVEMBER UPDATE rigged one of our servers and can only connect on my device that has not updated. FIX PLEASE
Same as the other post below, before the update I could view my cameras fine on my phone. The new update requires setting up an account which I did and I still cannot access the cameras. Wife’s phone same thing. Work phone which did not update still works perfectly! Please fix!
App worked fine until this week when it updated. First thought it was my system. Installed windows version on my laptop and it works fine. Then went to my iPad and the version for it works fine. - I have lost viability to my cameras on the latest update.
The latest update broke the app.
