B Flat ist eine App, um das Notenlesen zu erlernen und zu verbessern – egal, ob Sie Anfänger, Musikstudent oder Profimusiker sind. Anfänger profitieren von dem integrierten wikiHow-Artikel zum Notenlernen und den speziellen Übungen für Einsteiger. Fortgeschrittene können mit B Flat die Geschwindigkeit des Notenlesens deutlich steigern. 

B Flat verzichtet, im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Apps, bewusst auf ein Zeitlimit. Stattdessen wird ein Zeitbonus in Abhängigkeit von der gebrauchten Zeit vergeben. So zu üben bereitet Anfängern deutlich mehr Spass und sie können schneller Erfolge vorweisen. Der Profi wiederum hat den Anreiz, die Übung das nächste Mal noch schneller abzuschließen. 

B Flat merkt sich falsch gelesene Noten und zeigt diese häufiger an. Dies erhöht den Lerneffekt. 

Die Ergebnisse werden in Form von Statistiken übersichtlich präsentiert. So erkennt der Lernende leicht seine Stärken und Schwächen, aber auch Fortschritte. 

B Flat bringt einen eigenen Klangerzeuger auf Basis von SoundFonts mit, der die  angezeigten Noten, aber auch Ihre Eingaben abspielen kann. Die Instrumente können Sie durch eigene SoundFonts erweitern, welche mit iTunes-Filesharing oder dem iCloud-Drive geladen werden können.

Wenn Sie eine Apple Watch besitzen, können Sie auch unterwegs Ihre Fähigkeiten verbessern, das iPhone müssen dafür nicht aus der Tasche holen.
