No longer able to change stand position or sound group directly from device panel on beovision avant

The sound of the A1 speakers is excellent - as is the feel of quality. Unfortunately, the software does not rise to the same heights - Ive had two of these speakers for three years now & its been one problem after another with pairing them, keeping them paired and simply having them work as advertised. Last year it was a problem with turning them off: with no detectable reason, one of the two would refuse to power off at the end of the evening. Following all of the online advice available, to no avail, I simply had to let the offending speaker run out of power (- nearly a week if they were fully charged!) before it would accept any input. This year its simply pairing the two speakers at all….it cant tell the difference between them. When attempting to add the second speaker (for stereo pairing) it switches the output from the first registered to the second (while still referring to it as the primary speaker) ….& the app simply states ‘theres a problem’ when trying to get it to see two speakers. From a premier product I expect better - I have speakers costing 20% the price of ONE of these speakers that works perfectly each and every time I fire it up. Come on B&O, you can do better than this!

It was easy to find everything and make changes on the old app. Now it’s just a mess, so it’s either been dumbed down or the app designer hasn’t ever used the product.

Not work with iphone

Tidal log-in doesn’t work!! I’ve checked and rechecked my log-in details and I get a little tick to show I’m logged in to Tidal but it just keeps sending me back to the sign in screen.

Really enjoying the new Tidal and other streaming services integration within the app. The sound is absolutely remarkable on my A9 mark 5 - I would say this is almost perfect app for all my listening needs. …only one remaining irritant is no gapless playback. So when listening to albums and playlists meant to seamlessly blend there is a gap which is a little annoying. The Tidal app itself has gapless playback so it can be done. Hopefully in a very near update B & O? Then I will swiftly add another star.

Swiping left on a sound mode opens the delete confirmation pop up but tapping delete or cancel doesn’t do anything

Easy to navigate and use. I particularly like the fact it stores and shows each of the separate devices

Everything keeps crashing continuously

This new update has removed the features I used to enjoy my beosound stage. Movies now sound terrible, I have less control, and the all important “virtualise” button has been removed. Why have you limited the user here? Films are unwatchable now. Can you fix this?
