Bank of Ireland Mobile Banking

1 star for a lazy dev, design and product team. BOI rebrand was well over a year ago, how long does it take to update the app?

If you can’t develop a stable, functional baking app, then our funds are not in safe hands really. Will be moving bank asap

Terrible app. Can’t use for online purchases as it rarely allows you to authorise payments. A complete waste of time !!!!

Why does it have to be portrait? It is annoying to have to turn your iPad to approve a transaction, even more so when the app loses connectivity.

The BOI app is so far behind other international banking apps you'd think you were in 2008. Lacks many features and a decent user interface.

Whenever the bank app is actually working, it does so barely. Even doing simple transfers to other accounts, you risk the app crashing and having to start again.

Not even opening now

Try and authenticate a order and it doesnt coordinate and times out with a screen saying timed out. Absolutely useless.

I too have other apps from other prominent and respected banks and I am satisfied with the BoI app apart for one major feature and that is the FACE RECOGNITION NEVER WORKS❗️It worked OK only once or twice when it was first introduced (years ago⁉️) but since then I always just dispondently opt for keying-in the passcode feeling DISAPPOINTED every day 🤷‍♂️

No sign of notifications function when payments received or debited, can’t view transactions on savings account despite the account being listed on the app. BOI credit card again no notification of transactions really poor other banking apps have these functions for quite sometime BOI?
