Barcodes: Loyalty Card Wallet

I moved over to Barcodes after being fed up with the ads and inflexibility of Stocard. Barcodes is better by far. Here’s what I love: importing cards is super easy, the widget allows you to choose with cards you feature. And Jake, the developer, is super quick to add new logos. Also it all syncs in iCloud, so no need to faff with email logins. It’s certainly worth the small fee. 👌🏼👌🏼 This is THE loyalty card app you’ve been waiting for.

I love apple wallet but not everything can be added. The premium one subscription solves this by allowing me to add things like my gym membership and coop card to apple wallet. Not life changing I know, but a nice thing to be able to do. App works really well and support is responsive. Would recommend

Having searched and trying many barcode apps, I realised most of them had one thing in common, they didn’t really have many customisable options and they looked rather boring. “Barcodes” is a different app altogether, firstly, there’s more options and customisable features you could shake a stick at, it looks beautiful and everything about it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Some options require a small subscription, which, for the price of a small coffee unlocks all the great features, alternatively, you can unlock premium lifetime with just one very reasonable lifetime licence. You can scan all your loyalty/club membership barcodes and even add them to your Apple wallet, you can customise descriptions, colours, and make evening look just the way you want it to look. There’s a whole bunch of other features too which you can discover for yourselves. There’s free apps, sure, I come to realise though that free apps soon fizzle out, the devs lose interest, can’t afford to spend time or resources developing or fixing an app, then it just doesn’t work anymore, there’s hundreds of such apps littering the AppStore, I believe if you make a small contribution each month it keeps the wheels turning and gives the developer the resources and enthusiasm to continue. Should you run into any issues or should you need any help on any aspect of the app, the developer is very good at communicating and will go above and beyond to help you in any way he can. The app is kept updated regularly and more and more new features are added each time. Edit: This app just gets better and better with more more features with each update! Thank you and keep up the good work.

Barcodes is a really simple to use loyalty card wallet app - you can add pretty much any store loyalty card, your library card, your in-store gift cards, basically anything with a barcode, QR code or other scannable on it, just by scanning it with your device camera. You can also add numbers/codes manually and the app will generate a code for you. The look is sleek and simple, the app is quick to load and you can sort cards into folders, or by use frequency. You can have a widget for quick access from your home screen. I find it really useful to have the store logos displayed in the app to make it easier to pick out the right one at the checkout. Naturally, this app doesn’t have every logo in the world in it, but Jake from Barcodes is also super quick to respond to requests to add new store logos to the database and any suggestions for improvement - I haven’t seen this level of response in other apps, it’s amazing.

Really useful, privacy friendly app, for saving all your loyalty cards.

After seeing lacklustre support for Apple Wallet from some of my loyalty apps, I found this app after some digging around. All I can say is ‘wow’ this is exactly what I’ve been looking for to get my loyalty cards and reward codes into my wallet. Great app, easy to use, and great communications from the app developer! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to use Apple Wallet more!

Really useful App, particularly on the Apple Watch. Being able to attach the shop logos to the cards makes it easy to navigate and it’s simple and quick to add any other barcodes / QR codes using the camera (I have a few gift voucher’s saved for example). Thoroughly recommended.

After more than a year of use this is my second review of this app prompted by the latest update. Still a simple stable app free of ads and promotions but with more features. I use it daily and it works perfectly. I use applepay too and that means my wallet never leaves my pocket. If you have an apple watch you dont even need to open your phone as the app works perfectly on apple watch too. Support is brisk and missing logos are promptly provided after a request to the developer.

An excellent app which I moved to from a very well known competitor. The simplicity of use makes this a very useful package, that simply lives up to claims made in the app description and works flawlessly. No concerns about unnecessary intrusions or promotions from other companies. I happily paid for a lifetime membership.

I have only recently bought this app and needed some missing store card logos not available in app, so I contacted developer. I received a very quick response from Jake who has now updated the database to include missing logos. Highly recommended.*****
