This rating must be a total sham. This company is 100% S C A M M E R S. Do some homework and read review/ to find out, they have disabled Google reviews too. They clearly have a team generate fake positive reviews. Apple should investigate this.
They have taken my money and will not respond. Have sent so many emails, that are just ignored. Noticed later that their "staff" all have the same surname, not even enough imagination to mix that up.
Do not subscribe, buyer be warned.
Our experience with Bark.com has been unsatisfactory. Despite marketing itself as a reliable business platform, Bark.com falls short on multiple fronts. The company has consistently failed to respond to our enquiries in a timely manner, leaving us without support or guidance.
Moreover, the lack of vetting for enquiries has resulted in a high volume of irrelevant messages, often from spammers or job seekers, which has made it difficult to connect with genuine business opportunities. This lack of oversight undermines the platform’s credibility and usability for professional users.
Additionally, there appears to be a misrepresentation of the services and policies Bark.com advertises. These issues not only fail to meet the needs of businesses but also create a frustrating and counterproductive experience.
In light of these challenges, we strongly recommend caution when considering Bark.com as a business referral platform. It may not meet the expectations of businesses seeking a reliable and professional networking resource.

Potential customers and clients should be made aware that we pay to see their details. I get too many people just browsing, for which I pay for and nothing materialises.
Takes a lot of credit to finally get hired
Bark is a great tool, but it can also take a lot of credits (leads) to finally get hired. Eg I’ve bought 4 of the R800+ credits and have had only 3 hires.

The most irritating thing about bark is the constant need to update every week, it’s irritating.

Credit prices keep increasing without getting clients. Bark is not the same anymore. 100 credits finished without me getting a single client. That happened at least 3 times! This app does not cater for us entrepreneurs anymore unfortunately!
Poor quality leads 8/10 times
Leads are of poor quality majority of the time & IMMENSELY EXPENSIVE. They contain very little detail of work to be done & I’ve had many instances of leads coming through but it’s people looking to be hired to work for contractors not actually clients looking to do work. Their vetting process is extremely poor , they have no person to person communication either. I’ve had premium subscription etc. do not pay for it it’s a waste of money.
I’ve used this app for years , unfortunately I need to use it for the 1/10 jobs I get - if I had more consistent work I would delete the app in a heartbeat.

It helps very much as opportunities/ leads are made available - highly appreciated.
Freebies
It seems that so called potential customers are looking for free services, especially online. They try to keep phone conversations going to see how much they get out of the service provider without paying for anything. Professionalism is lacking and we should be able to comment on leads that are “just surfing the App” as we are seriously looking for business.
