Why do developers think it’s a good idea to not let uses zoom in on photos on a smartphone?
Some photos are way too small to see any detail, allowing simple stretch to zoom which most other apps do would only make sense otherwise what’s the point of having the photos half the time?
Add to that the ability to select text so it can be translated when needed

As an English learner from a country where English is never an official language, I have been using dictionaries installed inside iOS devices to better understand what your articles is talking about and it really helped me a lot. 

However, everything just changed since your revision of the BBC app because I have found out that I can no longer use “Look Up” to trigger my dictionaries. All the words just become unselectable. I understand that preventing unauthorized copy-and-paste do enhance copyright protection (but in my understanding there is NO copyright in simple news articles without any comments!), but it is causing huge inconvenience of using BBC app. 

Please, don’t stop me from using dictionaries.

I’m sorry but I’m finding the new BBC News app confusing and annoying! When you do click on an interesting new video you have to trawl through tedious ads. The app also freezes on these stupid video ads. Pretty shoddy! Not that bothered BBC. I’ll get me news elsewhere thanks!

After their new version of this app came out, I just stopped using and every now and then I enter to check certain things but my god this app is so badly designed and so slow to use. Why would you open as a pop up when you open Sports? The scroll is always awkward. I thought with technology growing everything gets easier to use. Very poor app design.

In previous versions, I could select text, press and hold screen, translate, but not in the latest version. This is very inconvenient. I have no choice but to use bbc on the web. Please improve it so that it can be done with the app.
